As an Republican Leaning voter, voting as Independent over the last 20 years in the General Election I some relief for voting for Obama. I feel I live in a culture devoted to the US Defense industry.

The Defense Department civil servants and Service members never seemed to get on board with Bill and Hilary Clinton. I heard all the scuttle about the Clinton's mistakes in the Defense Industry during his Presidency. I feel that National Politics has more importance than Defense Department Politics, but man.... it sure played out to me like Politics and the Budget in the Defense Department was more important that what was right, than following the US Commander in Chief, or accepting the new US President's new Budget.

But Look...We all have to look at US Economics, US Lobbying, US Budget, US Taxes, US Education, US Subsidizing of all big business interests, US Corruption of government by subsidies, lobbies, Congress/Senate, Tax breaks, government contracts that are not competitive for battlefield services, the sacking of the Social Security Funds, the spending in war far from our borders-far and above 30% of the US GNP/GDP and above 30% of the DOD Budget and in non-competitive contracts in Iraq above $2 million dollars.
