All we ever do is talk about how bad the people who are in charge of this country are, but we never seem to be able to actually do anything about it. I think the reason behind it is the same reason as the wife that gets gradually beat by her husband. He knows she won't stand up for herself, so he can do whatever he wants to her.
That is how the people in charge treat the citzens of this country. We don't matter anymore because they have been slowly beating us for years and we have done very little about it, hardly even noticing as our rights are stripped away more and more. Exactly what is it going to take for people to wake up and stop buying into the fear/consume cycle that we've been programmed to watch? Our government is afraid of it's citizens so, when are we going to rightfully claim our power back?
