Town Hall protests
Like Sen. Claire Mccaskill, I am baffled by the violence and anger at the town halls. Screaming and thrusting papers in someone's face is no way to conduct a dialogue. I did see Arlen Specter's meeting yesterday and I appreciated the sensible older men who had done their homework. Sadly, these types are few. I agree with Bill Maher's comment that we need to replace town halls with study halls (a few deportment classes wouldn't hurt either.) The authentic frontier gibberish I am hearing at these things is getting tiresome.

The smartest and greatest thing any American can do for America is to take a course in Psychological Warfare and Propaganda (AKA InfoWar).
When a general (any flag officer) spoke to any group, they always brought their own cheering section and a section that was against them. This way, the general could call in a person that was against him and the question would be such that it would deflect the subject away from the topic.

Clinton, Bush and Obama use this tactic and it works beautifully. They employ a sleight-of-thought technique (I discuss this in my book A Dragon This Way Comes). You use only the best word wizards--they are experts in the manipulation of a word definition.

Once you understand InfoWar, you will never be suprised by any action by any speaker and you will be able to tell what they are going to do before they do it.
