Tommy Morrison knocked out John Stover 2:08 in the first round. A very quick uneventful fight to tell the truth. I have to get the info on the rules handed out prior to fight. From what I understand they limited Stover's striking ability banning knee and feet strikes. Making it a boxing match. He did break the guys nose though. He will have a short-lived MMA career I believe. But I wish him the best.

The question has been asked a million times. How will a professional boxer fare with an MMA fighter? Styles make fights but if Tommy Gun connects, someone in the crowd will be collecting a head in their lap. Of course as he continues his career he will have to develop new styles and adjust to the ground game. I don't expect anyone to get him there too soon though. Your thoughts!!!

Yes there has been a lull in boxing due to poor promotion and fight scheduling. It seems everyones course of action is the safest one. Nobody seems to be stepping up to the plate and taking all challengers. Except few like Winky Wright, Hopkins, Pacquiao etc. you know who you are. My predictions are Andre Berto if he can get the right promotion and a little more ring experience. Watch one fight of his and you will get the same impression. He just plain out breaks bones!!! At least past 3 rounds buddy!!! Pacquiao is on another level and needs that rematch with Marquez. But what do you guys (and girls) think?
