We are entering the dog days of summer, named for the star Sirius, and these are serious times that we live in. Our president, the joke of the free world, continues to insist that; "there are people out there who want to come here and kills us, hee hee". But does he do anything to alleviate that hatred? NO! He continues to stand there like some dumbfuck cowboy poking a stick in the bulls eye just to make the ride more fun. Well we are on that bull and the ride isn't fun anymore.
He continues to say; "they hates us for our freedoms, hee hee", but they don't. They hate us because we are over there. They have told us this. Why doesn't this retard believe them? We have over 700 military bases in over 50 countries around the world. Our military budget is greater than the next fourteen countries out together. Think about that for a minute. All the chickenhawks in Washington, you know those people that like to send other peoples children to die but never served a day themselves, like our vice-Criminal Dick "the prick" Cheney, scream about China and the threat it poses. We spend more than seven times what China spends on military weaponry. But still the real threat of Islamic Fundamentalists isn't enough for them. They have to spend your money with their friends, like water, which isn't that cheap anymore anyway!
Maybe if we spent it a little more wisely and didn't allow companies like Boeing and Raytheon and General Electric to rape the American taxpayer at every opportunity we could actually start to spend some of that money elsewhere. Say in Minnesota to fix bridges before they collapse.
Or how this, for a novel idea, we get the fuck out of the Middle East! Let's get out troops out of Saudi Arabia, which is really why 9/11 happened. And out of Iraq and let the Iraqis kill off Al Qaeda. Something they do know how to do, kill.
I mean we should not have to prtoect the entire world! and if we do then the fucking world ought to be fucking paying us. If we going to be mercenaries then we damn well should be paid like mercenaries. Blackwater employees make up to $35,000 a month to walk around Iraq looking all Joe Badass and apparently not much more. Because the real soldiers are doing all the real dying.
Do you we have bases in Iceland. Iceland! What the fuck, is there a danger Vikings are going to launch an attack on us? There are four Major Air Force Bases in Germany alone. And twenty-three MAJOR Army bases in Germany alone. Didn't we kick their ass like over sixty years ago, isn't it time we moved on?
WE have military bases in virtually every country in Europe. Air force bases in Portugal, Army bases in Holland, Naval bases in Italy. God no wonder the Europeans think we are warmongers, all they see is American uniforms. And do they pay for all this protection? Hell no, we pay them to rent the land that we put the bases on! And then we hire locals to do all shit jobs on the bases, of course through the watchful eyes of Haliburton.
Ever wonder how Japan kicked Detroit’s ass? Well, I can tell you. Ever since the end of WWII we have been protecting their little bowing asses from the big bad Russians with three Air Force bases, two Army bases, two Marine bases and three Naval bases. These are only the MAJOR bases! At a cost of Billions of dollars each year. Billions that Japan didn’t have to spend.
So they spent that money on infrastructure and gave a good chunk of it to Honda, Toyota and Suzuki for research and development. They spent it to plot their way into our markets. And undersell American auto industry products. And then they deny us the “privilege” of selling our products over there. And now they hold about 5 TRILLION DOLLARS of our debt. So who won WWII?
Are you beginning to get it yet? America has been taken to the cleaners by every buttfuck country in the world. We allow them to subsidize their manufacturers and products to undersell and drive our manufacturing base out of existence. And what is this Government s response? Let’s create free trade zones so we can get fucked some more. Free trade helps no one but the rich cocksucking stockholders and CEOs and Boards of Directors. It sure as hell hasn’t helped the American worker!
I realize the jingoism of this blog. The xenophobia that you must think I live under is not really there. I would like a level playing field for the American worker. Something they haven’t had for a very long time now. Between the subsidized foreign products and outsourcing of American jobs to those who think a dollar a day is great pay, to the out and out federal give away that is the State Department, the American worker and taxpayer has taken it up the ass for well on sixty years now and the time has come for it to stop!
