I was reading your post and I just wanted to tell you my
story~in private. Most of the others on these boards know
about it from long ago.
I'm happily married to a very nice guy for 30 years,together for 31. We don't have children.
We met over the telephone in April 1977~and he asked me
to marry him very fast. It was a "whirlwind" meeting.
We got engaged in October and were married on 2-19-78.
I have been close to a former highschool lover of mine,
since the day he kissed me in 1970. There's something
special to our "relationship"~He's never married,yet he
knows that "he is my heart" and I know that I'm his!
He's kept all of the cards that I've ever sent to him~now
we're talking over 35 years of cards!!
Many years ago I had a dream "that something was wrong~
I dremt he was in the hospital" when I finally got in touch
he told me "you were right"~he also told me that he suffers
from "clinical depression,he's also a recovering drinker"
I call him almost every Friday evening~both to talk and
to find out how he's doing.
I also always tell him "if you ever need to talk just call me~
don't worry about my husband"
My husband has ADHD~and isn't jelous of him,or any of
my other highschool friends.In all fact they like him.
My husband knows all about Harris~he even sometimes
asks me about him. He also mails all of the cards I send
to him each year.
