>Well, for what what it's worth --- let's hope it doesn't drive CountyWexford into a another explosive fit of the BYGTSD (blow your gasket to smithereens disorder) --- >And oh . . . let us hope that County and his other touchy-tetchy chums control their raw rippling irascibility enough to detect a chuckle or two of humor --- not that I would bet our house-mortgage on it. (A couple of them admitted, the first day I posted back in late February, that they had the "attention-span of a gnat." Believe it or not, they seemed oddly proud of it. For County's latest tantrum skyhootings --- complete with high-coiled expletives and a rabid teeth-clenching inability to tolerate the slightest smidgen of criticism from a woman poster [a 7 word-reference by her to his enraged woman-hating use of "bitch"] --- click here. It will take you to post 887 in the official HBO forum-thread dealing with Laura. Hilarious! Yes, it's when I saw this message (belatedly) that I posted: "Michael, I much appreciate your compelling and comprehensive analysis. "No one has to read your post, or the whole thing, if they don't want to. Same as with anyone's." I wasn't familiar with the earlier history -- oddly proud of having the attention span of gnats. (!!!) But the tirade about your post was appalling, offensive. Sorry to hear there's been woman-bashing. There's been ugly man-bashing in some corners. (including against me) I read little discussion early on -- in part because people kept discussing previews of upcoming episodes. Even now, some threads, I look at the title and that's enough.
