I'm a new convert to Rome. I have for the last 5 years taught Ancient Roman History to Pre University students.
I love the grottiness of the sets and the wit of the characters. They definitely fall into the rhythm of the actual grafitti found in Pompeii and similar sites that were "alive " in the Roman world.
In May last year, an entry on the bulletin board mentioned Niobe.
If anyone is interested, she had an interesting collision with the gods and her family paid dearly.
Great to be aprt of this great and vibrant community of Romanophiles.
