Hi there Justta - I'm having terrible problems navigating my way round these boards and only just now discovered your message to me, sorry.
Yes, she gets treatment - though Paul has to go against all his training and break all his professional boundaries to take her to chemotherapy himself.
His doing this causes some problems later, and there is a heart-breaking scene between the two of them as a result. If he doesn't win an Emmy for that scene alone then I shall be on my soap box shouting.
Eventually she has a blood test, which shows that the chemotherapy is now working and the cancer is in retreat.
