Regarding the possibility of a "Unity Ticket" for Obama and Clinton, I had been wondering if whoever should win the Democratic nomination, that they would choose as a running mate the other candidate.

I read that some people say that this will not happen because neither of them wants to take a second seat.

I cannot believe that either one of them could possibly think that way given their ideals.

Bill Maher had a segment on "Real Time" regarding "if their Democratic candidate was not nominated, would they vote for the other".

Surprisingly there were those that said they would not vote for the other. Isn't this like giving a vote for the Republican Party's candidate.

If Obama and Clinton want what is best for this country, they
should positively consider it.

Also in casting your vote at the General Election, I recently saw the documentary regarding Michael Moore, regarding his causing dissent and his tactics. The one thing that stood out to me is that he had supported Ralph Nader and had campaigned for him. Now he is Anti-Bush and realizes that had he not supported Nader, those votes would have possibly gone to Gore and we would not have had the 7 1/2 years of greed and stupidity from Bush and his rich cronies.

I know of people who say that they are "independent" and do not want to vote by party. They will be writing in their choice of candidate (such as Fred Thompson) They are thinking that they are making a statement and taking a stand but in actuality they are wasting their vote and a wasted vote is not for a new regime that could possibly pull us out of the mess we are in.

I would like to see Hillary and Obama unite and not try to make themselves better than the other...United we stand.....divided we fall!

I am afraid that people are talking the talk about Obama and Clinton and that when it comes down to going to the polls, that they will not be able to bring themselves to vote for a woman or a black person. I hope this is not the case because if McCain gets in there, we are going to have all hell to pay.

The Republicans have not been able to do it....Let's give a Democrat a try......what have we got to lose?
