Does anyone know the name of the band that was playing in the bar when she was tracking down the cheating husband? He was channeling early Eddie Murphy and cracked us up but the music was outstanding. DrKoob

I have been searching in vain for the name of the song or the group that was used while Precious was chasing the twin dentists from Botswana to South Africa. It's really shameful that HBO and the BBC haven't done a better job with the credits.

I love the music from this series too. I don't see anything yet in the HBO shop but here is a link to request products in the shop. http://store.hbo.com/productfinder.php

Here's to hoping HBO puts out a soundtrack for the show, all the music is outstanding and I love it. Also you have Jill Scott so have her sing something as well!

>>Have you seen this video? Thanks Jane, I had seen the video before. Unfortunately of the artists mentioned, none of them were the performers of that particular song. Its very hard to find a particular song when you cannot name the artist title or any of the lyrics. So after an exhasutive search I finally had to give up. BTW nancehv is also referring to the same song that I was from Episode 2. I'd still like to know, but I've accepted I'll probably never find out -- Edited by cutty45 at 04/27/2009 10:07 AM PDT

I concur!! Come on HBO, either start adding the information in the closing credits, post it on your website in the music forum or add it to iTunes so we can download it. I especially liked the two songs that were playing during the second episode when she was driving to the South African border while following the dentist. My friends and I did copy the songs from the credits of the first episode but that was a BBC production, which seems to do things the right way, which is give the musicians credit for their work. HBO, please do the right thing and provide the list of music. Thanks, NHV

Same here I'd love to know the song/group that was playing in Episode 2 when Wellington was reading while Grace was typing. Sounded like maybe Gospel group, the music was great. I checked the credits, but didn't see any mention of them there.

If you have OnDemand, try "Pause" on your remote when the credits begin to roll. I often use it to identify the characters.

join the club merely want to know the names of the bands that were listed in the credits at the end of the show, and nobody seems to know anything about it. i think somebody from hbo gave an answer like, "yes, the credits are hard to read". but that was it. no link, no help, nothing. i don't know what to make of all the secrecy over the music credits to this show? -peter santa barbara, ca
