Yo, Saddam Dudicus... Braccae tuae aperiuntur. Id imperfectum manet dum confectum erit. Acta est fabula. It would have been nice if you'da, ate some poisoned goat intesticles, or drowned yerownself in the Tigris, or shot yerownself as did one of your role models like Herr Schnickengrubber. It would have saved everyone concerned a lot of trouble and such... But, you didn't.

FOr sale cheap. In Tikrit, one room spider hole. Previous owner skipped out unexpectedly. Call Honest Akhmed of Century 14 real estate.

"Cornpone's Defeat," "Cornpone's Disgrace," "Cornpone's Disaster?" THAT Jubilation T. Cornpone? "Why it was Jubilation T. Cornpone, Ol' Shaven and Shorn Pone, Jubilation T. Cornpone, The Man who knew no fear."

Speaking in Yiddish and of Hoosiers?

Speaking in Yiddish and of Hoosiers? > This guy is a puppet to the Clintons so his being a > switch hitter doesn't surprise me. Shades of Al Capp. Remember Dogpatch and Lil Abner? Well, being from Mizzoura, I all'us thought Dogpatch were in Arkansas due to my experiences in the boot heel area. Al Capp had some Cappisms that are very apropos to the sitchiation regarding Clark and the smarmy Arkansonians.. Close to Yiddish but no cigar. Clark would be a Shnorrer. A fellow who never misses an opportunity. Maybe Gen. Jubilation T. Cornpone, Idunno? "When we fought the Yankees and annihilation was near, who was there to lead the charge that took us safe to the rear? Why it was Jubilation T. Cornpone, old toot-your-own-horn pone. Jubilation T. Cornpone, a man who knew no fear." Bubber, another President Buisson Rhodes Scholor would be a Shlemazzel or maybe a Shlemeel. a Shlemazzel does not have to do anything to cause a disaster, all's he need do is exist and disaster finds him. A Shlemeel is a dunce who is incapable of doing any thing good no matter how hard he tries. There were Shloomps and Shlelppers, Shnorrers and Shtoonks and like another hoosier gang of comical charactgers[POGO] residing in the political swamp, in our contemporary world of fast food style political and social debate, where nutrition is rarely served, they both were and still are are the caviar of linguistic delight.

Colonel, I don't speak Yiddish and don't wear a yarmulke and was raised to uphold my codes of honor so I guess there is no chance of his being a relative. This guy is a puppet to the Clintons so his being a switch hitter doesn't surprise me.

fanobob, To be related to Gen. Clark you'd have to be able to speak Yiddish and wear a yarmulka. Even worse, you'd have to learn to violate every code of honor you ever learned. Yiddish I can handle, switch-hitting I can't. LongJohn

Colonel, I go along with Flop Clark but I'm thankful he is not related to me. At least I don't think he is and I ain't so sure I want to do a family history search to find out. That would be like a dagger to the heart. If I found it to be true I might change my name to Smith which is in my family lineage. I know some good folks by the name of Smith. Susan, Sandy and a uh, crusty old retired Air Force Colonel.

jimmyDK and Mags, It was a toss-up between Flip and Flop. Maybe we can permanently change it to Flop after the DNC convention. Flop Clark. Has a nice ring to it, yes? LongJohn
