barb,she is an amazing woman,she knows she is more then enough woman for any man,she works the principle,but she also her own woman,very powerful in her own right,and her husband knows it

Yes, people have the right to choose to live like this, but do they have the right to include their children in this? And, do you notice as mean and controlling and cruel as the men are the women are much worse when they feel threatened? Just what the men want.

Yes, she is TROUBLE. But why do so many of the women who are trying to "save" her believe the little witch? I think she is great is the role and brings even more of the sleazy lifestyle out.

I just finished watching the 2nd Season of Big Love on DVD. I am impressed with this series and think all of the actors do a great job. I think Bill is a creep. He wants to present himself as this wonderful man who is going to build a future for all of these wives and children when all he really is is a guy who wants to sleep with as many women as he can. He gives them all of the comforts of a "normal" home, the nice house, etc. and condemns the nuts of Juniper Creek when he is worse than they are. I truly dislike him and believe he will be the ruin of all of his wives and children. I hope that Ben and Sara leave that home and get on with their own lives. And, the one thing that almost makes me NOT WATCH is that horrid car that Barb drives. Come on!! It is not believeable...it must have 500,000 miles on it. She needs the newest vehicle of all of the wives. And now that she is asserting her status as #1 she need to go buy a Navigator...did you see the look on her face when her mom allowed her to get into hers?

You know there is really no one favorite charater that I have. I love them all equally in there own way. I would probaby have to say that I really l love margene. She's young,unpredictable, whitty, beautiful and so full of life. She tends to make peace when there is a dispute amugnst the family. This show is such an addictive show. The more you watch the more you wanna see. You never know what is going to happen next and it just has so many twist and turns. The characters are all played so perfect by every actor and actress. WHoever thought of making this show is pure genious!! When I watch this show it makes me feel like I am a part of their family. Although I do not practice this shows beliefs. I still love it and I would definalty make this my favortie T.V. show. I hope that they make ten more seasons. I think that it should always be a part of hbo. Please dont ever take it off the air and play it more often!!!!!

honestly i think every character is essential but i like lois, barb, margene, and nicki. all of them are hilarious and give the men on the show a run for their money.
it's nice to see a show about such a taboo topic put things in a more positive light. usually you only hear horror stories about young girls being forced to marry against their will, child abuse, and pural families cheating the welfare system. it's refreshin to see the family dynamic not only at play, but thriving.
The cultural aspect of modern fundamentalists is absolutely fascinating to me. most women would tear their hair out at the idea of sharing their husband. it's amazing to see it actually come togehter so harmoniously.

in the last four day i watched both seasons one and two now i am dieing for more.. any news on when it will come out??
and i like barb what that woman has done is so amazing.. she is the ulimate strength of the family.

My favorite character is Barb... she holds the entire family together and she is like a mother figure to Nikki & Margene. They say that behind every strong man is an even stronger woman... I would say that about Bill and Barb. I also like Nikki and Margene... but those two have some issues. Nikki because of growing up on the compound and Margene because of her childhood and the fact she didn't really understand what she was marrying into.

My favorite character is Margene, she brings such light and laughter to the show.
Overall though, I have to say that I love all of the woman, I think every woman out there can find a piece of herself in all three woman, allowing us to all relate to them in some way.

that's really too darn bad it's such a wonderful show and i miss it i cant even see on demand which i do often when hbo has it available........i miss the show so much what is this writers strike all about and why are they ruining my need from hbo...i might cancel my subscription as a protest myself the only reason i have hbo sence sopranos and sex in the city is off is .....big love......i have big love for the show

I love everything about this show!!! It is just so interesting to see how these people live, it captures you with the suspense of who is going to be the next victim of Roman or Albey or anyone basically at Juniper Creek.
I feel sorry for Bill in a sense because he has a lot on his plate, but when you take on three wives, seven children and his business, he has to expect chaos.
His family is CRAZY!!!! Nikki's family is CRAZY!!! Barb's family are snooty snoots who think they know it all.
Poor Margene, she wants so much to have a relationship with her alcoholic mother. I love Margene because she is so upbeat and open to what people have to say and suggest and she is so friendly.
I CAN BARELY WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT EPISODE IN FEBRUARY..............
