Nicki gets sidetracked after scolding Bill for disrespecting Barb on her "day," though Barb eventually gets her payback. Worried about Roman's threats, Bill looks into installing a security system at his home(s); Franklin's hospital convalescence ends with a visit from Roman and a revealing quarrel with his son; Bill's business associate, Don Embry, drops by for dinner, and confides to Bill his expansion plans; Marge presses Bill to give her a car of her own; Sarah forges a new friendship; and Bill compensates for rising demands at home.

Actually in the Viagra Blue ep. (I believe) we learn that the Embry's have 2 boys serving in Iraq right now. Peg Embry mentions "I have 2 boys over there" when she and Barb are discussing the Iraq war. But we've not heard any mention of kids for either Jojo or Vernie. We haven't really been given a time line as to how long Jojo and Vernie have been married to Don either but we do know that Peg and Don have been together for 27 years I believe from one of the early ep (1 or 2 I think).

Do Don's other wives have any children? So far we only seem to know about Jason who is Don and Peg's son.

“What is history? Some people say it is a bunch of gossip made up by soldiers who passed it around a campfire. They say such and such happened. They create it, they make it bigger they make it better. I knew guys in combat who made up sh#t. I’m sure the cowboys did the same. The nature of human beings is that they exaggerate. So what is history? Who the hel# knows.”

Pretty positive its at least being suggested that Jojo & Vernie have something going on the side (which apparently some polygamists are ok with so long as it doesn't interfere with their relationships with the husband). Could also explain why Vernie was so happy when she came over in BBQ for Betty and told the gang about how they were making preparations for Betty's move into the family home and she and Jojo would be sharing a room. ;)

Here is part of the Synopsis of Episode 02: "Viagra Blue"
on tonight:

"With tensions brewing at home, the Henricksons host a bridge game with Bill's business associate, Don Embry, and his three wives. As the six women help each other prepare snacks, Don confides to Bill that he's seeing someone, and has his wives' permission to expand the family. During the card game, Don's two younger wives, Verna and Julep, play footsies with each other under the table, while Margene and Nicki's simmering jealousies erupt over a bridge hand."

Did y'all catch Don checking out Margene in this episode? And what is up with the footsies underneath the table??

Me, too. Poor Margine probably just didn't think of it.
I think it really took her by surprise, and it's very hard for her to stand up to the others, since she's younger and they have more authority in the family than she does.

I usually wouldn't think that I could watch this show but it has got me. I am oficially hooked. It's so refreshingly diffrent than anything else that's on. After all the show's out there that are pretty much the same old story just diffrent people it's nice to sit down and enter the world of Big Love! I love every actor/actress and their portrayal of their character. I can't wait for the next season. I am trying to find out when it starts I can't remember if it's starting the same week as the Soprano's in January or what? Anyone know?

X-(That seriously pissed me off when I saw that. AND IT WAS IN Margie's bed nontheless. I would have been soooo mad! Even if I was supposed to 'share' my husband..which I would never do, but those of you who want to that's your business...I understand that he sleeps with all the wives, but just like Margie said in the one episode...it should be a rule that the 2nd wife can't sleep with their husband in the 3rd wive's bed. I would have walked in and stopped them and been very mad at both of them. Especially Bill. He is her husband too and should respect her more. I think that Bill loves Barb more than the others. He TRULY loves barb...he loves and cares for the others, but not like Barb. I don't know. It just makes me sad watching them all share him. I would be sad to have to share my husband with two other women.

Margie is more gracious than Nicki. Margie could have rubbed it in like this:

"Oh yeah, well I heard what he said to you in MY bed and he didnt even mean it, You see, I said that very same thing to him this morning! He can't even thing of something original to say to you!"

But since she's not a cold stone bitch (like Nicki) she didnt. But Nicki would have if the situation was reversed.

"you are my little blue eyed girl"...earlier that morning Margene had called Bill her "little blue eyed boy".

this is when I realized that Bill was an absolute slime!

This is driving me crazy, but what were the "sweet nothings" that Bill was saying to Nicki? Marge said they were "hers".

You should never be cowed by authority. Except, of course, in this instance where I am clearly right and you are clearly wrong.

I second that, as another chica with waist-length hair. :)

Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.
