Yeah, isn't a shame there aren't more of the little tender moments? The "Awww, that's nice" moments that one feels good about. Insead, it's turned into a cold cold overly-PC mess. A pity, IMO.

I watched this episode again today, and it remains one of my favorites of this season. This may be the only time we've seen Nicki and Bill being truly affectionate and tender to one another, with no underlying agenda. In the same scene, Bill admits that he still misses the compound sometimes, and I found that to be very poignant.

When I saw the pants, my first reaction was, "Uh-oh, there go the credit cards again!" Those were expensive designer pants, and presumably she didn't own them before that day.

Did anyone catch the conversation that Bill and Nikki had while she was "hiding out" in the big tire by the clothes line? He referenced something in the past.
Sure would like to know more about their relationship when they were kids at the compound, before Bill was kicked out at age 14.

I thought I saw Nikki wear slacks when she made the 2nd visit to her son's parochial school. It was the episode where she was trying to fit in.
She's so strong, yet so hurt and vulnerable at times.
I think her world, growing up, was one of "It'll make you or break you." She doesn't want to break, but sometimes it's so hard for her.

I don't know about Nikki being married before. In the MOTY episode she tells Margene that a "younger" man (in his 40's) made overtures to her father about her. That would mean she was not married. She also say's "I brought my self to Bill" I take that to mean she was the aggressor in the relationship. Adaleen has implied a few times that she was a handful, and
Roman says one time "what have you gone and done now" I agree with the running away and reprograming part. Maybe that's why she was pawned off on Bill - She was damaged goods?? The reprograming didn't work, so when the opportunity arose, Bill got a loan, a new wife/nurse for his wife/child caregiver, Roman got his collateral, and strong ties, as well as getting rid of his daughter, and she got Bill and a ticket out of the compound. Oh, and another little added bonus. Roman is the current Profit. Bill's grandfather was the profit and thought Bill was something special. Maybe Roman AND Nikki see it as Nikki's children with Bill will be sort of Princes of the Blood and be THE profit.
Tell me what you think...am I way off here???

i dont quite know where to put this question so here it goes..Does the guy that knocks his head all night in a motel? Gay.. and if his Father is Roman does he know of it...Cause i think that may be part of the niki part of the wedding deal.. and do i think that Niki was married before.. no I think she ran away.. and was sent to the rehab mormon group...
