As I remember it, Roman was not driving but he did order the person who got in to drive to "Catch her!" Somehow, I think that Roman would have also been legally responsible if he had lived. And it was the jolt of Kathy's braid being caught in the door when she wrecked that caused her neck to break.

I doesn't matter if he was driving or not. He was responsible for the chase, and the reason she was running and the car he was in hit her's. The car drove her off into the pole. He was in control of that car. She was fleeing from someone trying to do her harm/kill her. Roman kidnapped her and was forcing a marriage again under threat of violence from him and the Green's. She was going to be taken out of the country for conditioning after the ceremony. She acted in self defense with the pitch fork and taking the truck to get away.

All this cause he was on trail for forcing marriages of underage girls including her first marriage.

I'll have to go back and rewatch that, maybe the drivers side door was damaged in the accident, I'm almost positive that it was Roman chasing Kathy down.

Halo
Your probibly right but I'm almost sure I saw Roman get out of the Hummer or truck on the passenger side. It made me question wether or not he was even driveing.

Gus, Roman didn't run Kathy over. He was chasing her in his hummer (I think). Her braid was stuck in the window, and he hit the back of the pick up she was driving so hard, the impact snapped her neck:(

This series makes me think more than any other series I've ever watched. Just when I think a character is "perfect" they aren't. I'm so glad there's a new season in January.

I might be mistaken but how could Roman have ran over Joey's wife to be when I thought I saw him get out of the truck on the passenger side?

Nikki was 15 when she married and was maybe 19 when she got unsealed and lost her little girl to Jay Jay. I think she was 3?

How could Roman allow that? Was Jay Jay living under a stronger prophet or something?

I don't think it's selfish of her. What choices did she have in that life being a baby at the time of her marriage and other adults in control of her life?

She's found an opportunity to get her daughter back and she's taking on great risk to get it. Maybe that's why she is still connected to the compound and concerned about power struggles. That was why she was getting friendly with Alby, and trying to get him off the compound. And she just shows up at the houses with her even though Bill just unsealed them? and was technically living at the apartment that Don owned? Guts.

I am married to a older man and I can relate to how Margie deals with what is dealt her. Not really being the little girl people think she is and should be and when she has that moment of childishness everyone jumps on her about it ten times worse. Bill has the same childishness about him in some ways. Like the manipulative games he plays with Roman, his father and even his wives.

Nikki is in any situation she is in because of her choice to cling to her families ways. The only display of selflessness she has given is that with her daughter and even then is there not something more to gain there? Not being tossed aside by Bill?

Barb chose life for her family and gave up living hers when she said yes to Nikki and it hit her hard this past season.

My favorite characters tend to depend on the season.

Currently, I am loving Alby and Nikki. They are the two spoiled little children who have always had things go their way. Things started to change for them, so they are teaming up. Nothing is out of bounds with these two. I am hoping it continues into next season so I can see what these two are able to cook up.

I'm really liking Wanda. I see her getting developed as a character. When it started out, she was just the town loon. She is getting more dimensions to her and I'm liking where they are taking it.

Lois has always been one of my favorites and will continue to be. If they were ever to do a spin-off series, I would love for it to be about her and her activities on the compound.

I love Heather and Sarah. They are a great example of what it is to be a teen in today's world. They are both wrestling with they feelings and beliefs, all the while trying to find a balance with their families. I'm not sure what season four holds for them, but I am hoping this isn't the end of their friendship.

Barb. What is there to say about Barb. She is the Rock of Gibraltar for this family. Forever poised, she is able to represent her sister wives to Bill, hold her own in the community, and be a mother to all of the children. She is, in my opinion, what most wives strive to be.

Unfortunately, there are many characters I am not fond of.

Bill. I'm not liking what he is becoming. He doesn't listen to anybody and he puts the people he is closest to in danger for his own advancement. I think what I find most frustrating is that it always seems to work out for him. You want people like him to get theirs at least once in a while. However, it just seems to work out in his favor every time.

Teeny. What is the point of this girl? In the first episode of season three, she risked exposing her family because she wouldn't come clean to her parents about the dirty magazines. She flat out lied to them when they asked her why the neighbors weren't letting her play at their house anymore. Did she ever get in trouble for lying? Nope. She also annoyed me on the cross country trip where Margene was concerned. Margene is one of her mothers and she showed a complete lack of respect refusing Margene to ride in teh same car as her and Barb. She doesn't get story line that contribute to anything and doesn't really add much other than getting on my nerves.

Frank. I'm ready for him to die, already. Of course, I'm really not supposed to like him so I guess the writers and Bruce Dern are doing their jobs.

I like Barb's mom Nancy and Heather the best. They will put their discomfort aside to help them either get out of the life (Nancy-lois, bill, barb) (heather - rhonda) or deal with them in the lifestyle without ever accepting the lifestyle and changing themselves.
