Having been evicted from their temporary lodgings, Franklin, his wives and dog descend on Bill's just in time for Easter-as does Joey, who's looking for a fresh start. Meanwhile, Bill finds himself drowning in lawsuits; Nicki learns she's not alone in debt; Sarah unexpectedly bonds with Lois; and Bill surprises Roman with a final settlement offer.

Inviting family or close friends to work for you is a really bad idea, especially a likely screw-up like Joey. -- -------------------- I'm a bloodsucking fiend! Look at my outfit!

BPB - I was referring to the quote by Pat R. about feminism causing women to leave their husbands, take up witchcraft and become lesbians, etc. His rant sounded so similar, I couldn't resist a jab! He/she/it had made it very clear that he/she/it is very Catholic! M. -- Glinda, to Dorothy: Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?

Why doesn't Bill offer his brother Joey a job at one of his stores..??? It looks as though Bill cares about him and he gets along with his brother so it would seem very natural that he offer him a job so he can stay away from Roman and that lifestyle..???

Perm3800, Thanks for a very intelligent, well-worded post. I agree with you 100%. Besides, there is no such thing as an "illegitimate" child. The original reason it was a problem, was that men owned all the property, and a child not acknowledged by some man or other, couldn't inherit anything, and its mother could not provide for it. Now that it's all down to what money we make from our jobs, in theory an out of wedlock child ought to have a pretty fair shot....IF we paid women as much as we pay men.

JumboPaperclip, Nutcase, I saw my name. Sorry about my long posts. And they are definitely opinionated. But I think there's a difference between opinionated, and judgemental. When you start judging real people, for the way they live, that's judgemental. The root words are supposed to be a clue, you know?

So, anyone who believes that capitalism > must be married with responsible behavior is a > Stalinist? Ah, your slip is showing, Ayn! Rampant > capitalism without controls leads to Hooverville! > All aboard! The collectivization of agriculture in the early USSR was done by convincing the people the reason they were starving in the richest lands of what used to be a net exporter of food was not the collectivization process but that there were evil "kulaks" (rich farmers) who were holding out and hoarding food. It was a simple matter to kill off land owners and farmers that way by encouraging the mobs to act. As people were killed off the amount of property one had to have to qualify as a kulak was reduced and reduced and reduced. Take a look at the history of the "rich man's tax" as the 16th Amendment and the federal income tax were sold. Feel "rich" lately? -- -------------------- I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad, and it's depressing. -- Edited by BipolarBear at 05/08/2006 2:29 AM
