Having uncovered Bill's romantic secret, Margene befriends an unsuspecting Ana, then arranges lunch with (the unequally unsuspecting) Barb and Nicki at the diner to introduce them to their prospective sister-wife.

Rhonda together in a scene is so boring Rhonda has no spark, Im sure people dont care what happens to her..Heavens knows I dont care... I think itwould be great for her to marry ol Frank and let her live like a dog... and be sure to get her a house in the ground.. and that she wears her underwear... that might be too controversial.. a dearler in vegas might be the ticket.. Yes i like this Idea better..

Instead of getting rid of her they will eat it up. I'm guessing the reason you don't like her so much is that you think it is an exaggerated misrepresentation.

It would have been nice to have a sympathetic character running away from Roman, too. But probably polygamists would have seen that as prejudiced. > Let someone else, a better actor, be evil. I think she does a great job of playing a sociopath. Rhonda has a flat affect because sociopaths do, unless they're trying to charm someone. I don't think she's a bad actress at all. She's playing the character exactly the way she has to be played. Part of the problem is that Rhonda doesn't have much of a chance to show any genuine emotion, and since she's always lying, the actress always seems a bit off, a bit fake, because Rhonda is. -- Ben: You never listen to me! Bill: Don't ever say that.

One other note - for what its worth, I can't get Bill Paxton and "Weird Science" out of my head. I've watched every episode of this show, every scene, and for some odd reason, when I picture Bill, I see him as that Jaba the Hut character from "Weird Science". Reaching out to catch flies with his tongue...

Actually, you're right - Bill Paxton does read quite of bit of lines. He could most definitely be a better actor. Very blank in his expressions. HBO must rush production on this score because he is really not improving at all - Again, I'm petioning to get Rhonda off the show. I'm sure they filmed all episodes already, but for what its worth, she really is a waste of time. I like everyone else for the most part. I understand their reasons for being part of the show. Most characters have a purpose - whether that's the son coping with sex, the daughter coping with a child hiding her family, Wanda represents a perspective and certainly her husband. Everyone does. But Rhonda is a waste of time. Would have preferred her character if she just represented a girl in the compound who might have not wanted to get out until she saw the outside world. I thought it was interesting how she didn't know simple things, like who the president was. I think they should have left her character at that. Let someone else, a better actor, be evil.

whoever, > I am one of those folks who wants to know what > happened with Nicki and the credit card issue. But > that disappeared. Whoever, keep watching. Nicki stole Barb's tuition money at the beginning of the season, remember? And now she's stolen THOUSANDS of $$ from Juniper Creek and is gambling it away as fast as she can. I predict all this crazy spending is going to come back to haunt her, very soon. -- Ben: You never listen to me! Bill: Don't ever say that.

> I don't want to join this forum. I came online > because HBO has got to get rid of Rhonda or I'm > turning off this show. I'm pretty sure the entire season is filmed before they start airing any episodes. Whether they're complete, or can still be edited, I don't know. She's trouble, that's for sure, but no one deserves to be bartered like property to an old man by her own mother. No wonder she's the screwed up little brat that she is! > I am one of those folks who wants to know what > happened with Nicki and the credit card issue. But > that disappeared. I believe in one of Season 2's earlier episodes, Barb asks Nicki something to the effect of "is she still attending her Debtors' Anonymous meetings". So, that issue is still on the back burner. I thought it was disgusting when Margene was taking a dump with Bill in the bathroom. She didn't even wash her hands afterwards.

Yeah, I agree she's a really terrible actress. Kinda' reinforces her character tho, don't ya think?? My second-worst actor on the show is Bill Paxton. Especially the last show .. "Circle the Wagons". Several lines/scenes were really just 'read' by him (he does this a lot, but this time it was really obvious) .. like during a rehearsal or table reading. Cheapens the show, IMO. Very amateurish. I'm surprised they kept the lines in in that state .. I know they can't afford many takes, but c'mon! It was very bad acting and directing, IMHO. I guess all the Botox doesn't help him, expression-wise. IMO, he's never been an actor with any depth or emotion, tho, so I guess I'm not surprised. He's not wooden .. he's usually plastic, unconvincing and nearly lifeless. I think they're rushing production too much .. very un-HBO.

I wonder if whoever feels the same way about the real live media whores just like her on the real news or if it's just the insiders who know what they are really like who feel like that.

I don't want to join this forum. I came online because HBO has got to get rid of Rhonda or I'm turning off this show. I'm not intrigued by this character. I don't like this character, and yet, sorry to say, I don't hate her. But everytime she appears on screen, she annoys me. Like an annoying child that I just want to leave by the roadside. I don't feel she contributes to the show. I think she detracts from this show. Most of all though, it is not so much the character that I don't like but rather the actress herself. I think she is not worth putting on the screen. Last week was so nice when she didn't appear on the program and now, she's back. I am one of those folks who wants to know what happened with Nicki and the credit card issue. But that disappeared. Surely Rhonda can too. Or, if you want drama, have someone shoot her. Whatever. Just take that "actress" off the screen.

The "legal" wives are listed with their husband's last names. With the exception of Lois, probably because she was introduced prior to becoming a "legal" wife. -- I can be changed by what happens to me, But I refuse to be reduced by it. Maya Angelou

In regard to the dating game vs. marriage? I was looking at the cast/tv names when I noticed: There's Bill Henrickson with Barb H.,Nicollete Grant, & Margene H. Then there's Roman Grant with Adelene G. and Rhonda Volmer, & who knows who else? Then there's Frank Harlow with Lois Henrickson & who knows who else. Then there's Joey Henrickson with Wanda Henrickson. My point is that there are 3 wifes who do not go by their husband's last name being- Nicollete, Rhonda, & Lois. Is there a reason for this or is it just to give some variety in the show? Or am I just thinking too much?
