Margine posted on her blog last month and we missed it. Nothing really big; just chatter.

I would really like to see Margene interview Sarah next .That would be very interesting, as Sarah is a young lady who seems to becoming increasingly more dismayed by the principle and is now coming of age.She is having to try to be a moral young person and navigate her feelings and decisions with guys and everything else.

Oh. . .I see. . .

About 3 years ago, when I first got sick, I played with becoming a vegetarian. . .Definetly not for me. . .But I have added a lot more vegetables to my diet, and reduced the meat a lot which is a very good thing.

Funny story. . .we had a company sponsored dinner, where I asked for a meatless meal. . .(I think they gave me pasta or something) anyway, the Owner knew I really liked my meat, and commenting on it so I explained why I was now going meatless. Anyway, his "college graduate" cousin was right across the table from me and made a comment "Oh yea. . .she's such a vegaterian while she's throwing back jello shots and vodka martinis. Everything went completely quiet until the owners 14 year old son said "Isn't vodka made from potatoes?"

I think the VP part is vegetable protein (Titannia is a vegetarian) but don't remember what the T stands for.

Me, too, CQ! I could go the rest of my life without it. And I am. But I do eat the odd TVP or veggie burger, and I know lots of ways to serve TVP without even opening a box of hamburger helper. :)

That should be too funny to see what Nicki has to say about Margi getting her to write on the blog. I would love it!

And what are burgers anyway. . .ground steak!!!

Exactly, my Son in law's uncle is a butcher. He asked me one day if his nephew was behaving, etc. I told him yes, but he doesn't eat much, to which he responded, the Chili beans, speghetti, meatloaf, hash, I make is the bomb and he has 2nds and thirds. Everything to do with Ground beef. . .His uncle pipes up with "I always have rib eyes, porter house, t-bones. . .after 1 month, I had to start grinding it up for burgers for him. . .

Personally I grew up having ground beef in one form or another 4 - 6 times a week and as a result I don't care much for hamburger. I think it'salso atexture thing. If it's breaded like meatloaf or meat balls I can handle it. 50 lbs would be a years worth at least!

Right. . .I have about 1 million and 1 recipes for Ground beef, but I wouldn't want to eat it every single day. . .Nor would I ever think of having over 50lbs of it sitting in my fridge/freezer. . .

When I was still married, and my children, neices, and fosters were all at home, we never sat down with less than 10 - 12 people at the table. . .and come to think of it. . .that's more than they have, and I never had that much meat, even combined, in my freezer!!!!
