She she is still trying to figure out the "tap tap tap" and "Public John" her mother was referring to about Albi. (neither does Albi's wife)
She almost didn't know what "ED" was.
But she knows the "menage a something"
In the first season the writers tried to imply that she was a clairvoyant. But later in the season we learn that she is a nosy busy body. Nikki has assimilated to life off the compound better than Bill and the sister wives even know.
But she is so naive. What do u think?

Isn't it common knowledge? Public bathrooms are handy. They're at least kind of private, they're fairly anonymous, and if the answer is no, you never have to go back there again. Even if you do, it's unlikely that the same guy will be there the same time as you are anyway.

Of course not! women are very good at reading body language. And they know you're not gay. If you get hit on by a lesbian you don't know, it's probably because you're at a gay bar swishing your long blonde hair after kicking off your shoes and putting your long legs on the table and saying loudly,"I wish some lesbian I don't know would hit on me, already!" That's the kind of subtle signal women really appreciate.

Close enough to the truth, yes.
But if I may make a sweeping sexist generalization here based on experience of a kind............and talking to thousands of men and women about sex...................................
Men are okay with the idea of having sex standing up in a bathroom. Or in a dirty car. Or in a filthy apartment or run-down hotel room. They won't lose their erection if a car horn honks or there's a sudden bad smell or unexpected cockroach.
Women, on the other hand, would prefer to have sex in absolute comfort, in hospital clean circumstances, with no distractions. Because it takes women longer to reach a climax, and because just about anything can make a woman lose arousal, women like to avoid things like standing up in a public bathroom to have sex.
A lesbian doesn't really want a hurried blowjob in a bathroom stall. There's no guarantee it's going to take her less than 40 minutes to come, so she's a lot more likely to suggest going back to her place.
And because it does take women longer to reach a climax, they are a lot more patient with foreplay and with setting up the situation, to the point of waiting to actually fall in love before they even start to hint about sex.

Me either. But it is likely that lesbians are more conscious of signals (the instinctive kind, not tap, tap, tap), and therefore are able to screen out those who are not interested. Men have to take the more direct approach of asking.

What I would like to know is where Adaleen got her information on gay signals for restroom sex.
One thing I've noticed, nearly every straight man I've ever known has been approached by a man for gay sex at least once,
However, I've never been approached by a lesbian.
I have read that a lesbian won't hit on a woman unless she's almost certain she won't be refused.
Whether or not that's true I have no idea.
I always laugh when Adaleen says "tap, tab, tap"
I thought Lura didn't know what Adaleen meant, but just tried to look like she did.
It's hard to say whether Heather is gay because straight women have much closer friendships than straight men do. Ben said "Heather still sleeps with a night light".

Apparently, on The Compound, people know that some of the women are truly lesbians. Rhonda had said something to someone about it, before. I think it was Heather? So, I don't think they're growing up in The Compound truly naive..

Actually the BOM is dull- but no more dull than most translations of other religious text. It's a construction based on the notions of the 19th century (in my poor unbelieving opinion) composed by individuals who wanted to make it appear to be old - hence the consistant and unmitigated use of the phrase and it came to pass for no rational reason in the text.
Is Nikki stupid...Not half!
No - Nikki will respond to anything in anyway and say anything to get her out of any difficult situation.

Remember back (actually, she still hasn't stopped) when Rhonda was ready to sell out everyone (Juniper Creek and the Henricksons) in exchange for fame, money, and music stardom? Nikki has the same general personality, and she's realizing that while Margene is easy to manipulate, Barb holds the Power and will never be controlled. If Nikki takes the kids and runs off with Ray, she gets everything, including the chance to play the "victim" role for the rest of her life ("they MADE me do it!" ).
She stayed with Bill because she still had daughterly feelings for Dear Old Dad. Now that those have been burnt away, there's not much holding her to Bill other than a marriage created by Dear Old Dad. If she gets sealed to Ray she gets into the Celestial Kingdom on a bed of diamonds, roses, gold American Express cards, and flattery.

Whats going on here is a difference of region. NYC is crowded enough that you can always find a gay bar to hook up at. Out in the boonies of Utah, you can always find a deserted truck stop.
