Prom Queen

what an episode. this show was jumping today....

I think Nicky kind of likes that lawyer....

Anna being sorry to Barb seemed sincere...

Barb forgives Ana...

poor Margie....

Lois has completely unraveled.

I think this was the best show yet...

And Nikki said several times "I didn't marry Bill for love, I married him for the prnciple." I wonder if Nikki isn't sure she loves Bill and feels guilty about it. She is a complex character.

What's the deal with Ben?? I haven't been watching long... I've seen a few of the priors seasons and all of this season so far... Does Ben have any skeletons... he seems like such a good boy.. is he the real deal... or does he have a wild streak or something in him?

Sarah didn't want Ben to watch them kiss is all.
When Bill called his Mom agout what happened to Maggie (I believe that was the name); did he think his Mom killed her?
I can't believe the writter's twisted the fact that Sarah fell out of love........ :(
Is she going to have an abortion?
There were too many twists in this last show.......Nicki hugging her boss? WHo's watching her kids? Hmmm...
affair time?
Anna came back into the picture too fast since last year it was over. I want her to stay though, she makes the show spark.
Where are Ben's 2 twin GF's? Is it over?
TOO MUCH WENT ON!!!!

I don't know. Margene has had a fair run at guys her own age, and made her own choice. Not like all those poor girls at the compound who never got a chance to date and were just forced into marriages with spoiled older men.

I'm not sure what they could say with Margene getting a crush, that hasn't already been said.

Now, having Nicki get a crush, that would be interesting, because Nicki hasn't ever done that before.

Don't be confused T - it's just unexplainable what love does to some people yanno?
I think Barb as well as Nikki has the whole mormon culture to fall back on that helps her accept the double standard. Margene, well, poor Margi finally has a family so she'll just put up with it. Although I see a story line somewhere in the future where Margene develops a crush on a guy her age..wouldn't that be interesting?

Why do women support polygamy?

That's a good question and could be followed by a lot of other ones from our past. Women traditionally have been the worse offenders against other women, correcting or even punishing them when they "got out of line."

Maybe subservience is in our genes and/or we're culturally brought up that way, even now. For starters, men have more physical power and that means a lot when a system ultimately depends on force. Men are more violent than women in every culture on earth, although mean from one culture maybe less violent than women from another.

I went to high school with some Mormon kids. I remember that one of them was in my group of friends, and he used to say, "Oh, darn!" "Oh, heck!" He was sort of a natural comedian and would ham it up - we'd all start laughing.

I don't think she's having that much fun. I think this is actually breaking her heart. She did have fun digging the hole, but when it came right down to it it I think she was telling the truth, that she didn't want to do it, but she has to.

Frank has always made her life a living hell. Why didn't she finish divorcing him?

Me, too. I liked it that Ana put it out there on the table, that the double standard bothers her, and that Barb admitted that it bothers her, too.

Why do women accept a double standard like that? Nicki I understand because she was raised with it. But the others...especially Ana--I'm confused.

I guess he didn't pass out lol..It's just a reminder this is a tv show too. But it is way more interesting this way.

I don't think Lois kills frank, but she sure is having fun scaring him. Of course at one time she loved him. It's one of the things that broke her heart.
I hate that Ana is back. I do think that Ana in the picture offers us a glimpse of the process and also shows more family interaction which is always good but I really am hoping she realizes that the lifetstyle isn't for her.
Poor Nikki. She has become a much more sympathetic character so far this season. I really hope she doesn't get caught in this scheme.

I think Heather was mainly doing it to spite Rhonda. Still, this is WAY more interesting than Heather dating Ben, doncha think?

Interesting how Frankie felt so guilty over Rhonda, and so nervous about what the girls might want, that he got so drunk. How did he manage to make out with Heather being so drunk?
