Who else caught the thing with Roman asking Bill in the car if he still "enjoyed" all his wives? He wanted to hear about Bill having sex with his DAUGHTER. OK. EWE. And then he goes on to say "I enjoy them ALL." Is it me? or does it seem that some weird incest thing may come out in season 4? -- You think I'm a dirty chinchilla.----Lois Hendrickson

I walked out of the theatre wanting nothing so much as to sue the lot of them for the price of my ticket back. I love Eric Idle, Tim Curry, and David Hyde Pierce very much but Spamalot was a nerdy high school student's day dream of what the Holy Grail should look like as a musica. It was, in my opinion, one of the most mediocre things I've seen on Broadway. (I say mediocre because while it was disappointingly nothing to write home about, I've seen far more painful things trotted out, like The Boy from Oz, for example.) Eddie Izzard is simply attractive because he is Eddie Izzard. Also, I think there is a sharp difference between his transvestitism(he is a transvestite in most of his day to day life) and Tim Curry's, who simply played a transvestite once in a movie. As for transvestitism being attractive in general, I think it's mostly it's about gender-bending. Something about that gray area where things get mixed up can be down right appealing to some. kopride, Alilia, > I get Eddie first! Dibbs! OMG! You've just pointed out to me the ONE man in the world I would go polygamous for. And you know he'd never let you....Wow. > You'll have to address that with your other sister > wives. Not to be pedantic with ya here....but Tim Curry, bright and funny though he may be, is really just an actor/singer. Izzard is an actor/comedian who writes his own material and who really does have transvestite issues. Not that the transvestism is what makes him sexy, but it is a bit of a difference between the two. the REAL difference between the two, is that they belong to two different generations. Izzard is more like the "new" Tim Curry. -- ?Guns don't kill people, people kill people, and monkeys do too (if they have a gun).?

I don't know. Maybe it's just a personal preference. I for one can't get enough of men in drag. And I have to admit, when I watch J'Amie, he's so convincing being a selfish teenaged girl that I sometimes for get it's him. I love how she's so tragically ugly, but so believes she's beautiful, I kind of start to forget she's ugly. Anydrags, my fav all time s/he is Guy Pierce in Priscilla. I'm strangely attracted to herm. -- We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams. - W. Wonka

HERESY ! Destroy the Infadel! HERESY! Tim is fine, but Eddie is Pure Action Transvestite Sex on high heels Have you seen his stand up? I am merciful -I forgive you.- because I'm CuCuu for Kopride! Love A I'm sorry, we always hurt the ones we love. Eddie's stand up is great. But if you saw Tim Curry in Spamalot, his stock would rise a bit more than fine in anyone's eyes. Also, as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, whatever he may lose in the panteon of any transvestites that followed, he should gain something for originality. I must confess that transvestism is an art that is generally lost on me. From Uncle Miltie to J'Amie on Summer Heights, I can't lose myself in the whole conceit. It's always that's a dude playing a dude that is trying to pretend that he is not a dude . . . . what am I missing?

Second, because one of Bill's wife was seperated from him after no kids for several years. Who was that? My grammar sucks but he was separating from Nicki, and she had not had children for a few years. I was talking about Nicki. I get Eddie first! Dibbs! You'll have to address that with your other sister wives. As I said previously, irrespective of what the legislature does, or the legality of gay marriage, I have no interest in Eddie or any other man in the compound -- so you get no problem from me. I have to say that, as progressive as I may be, I would have to make sure that more than a few days pass on the schedule before I follow Eddie or Mr. Gibb. And not to raise your ire, but isn't Eddie Izzard just a poor man's Tim Curry? I also have to confess that Adalene might be some fun, though she might not need to visit the red tent anymore. I might have to wait in the closet for reasons different than Joey

Okay, I'm sitting here and I can't stop saying to myself, "I enjoy them all" And I'm giggling like a schoolgirl. "I enjoy them all." It may be the best line of that whole episode. -- We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams. - W. Wonka

The question is, do they enjoy him? You got to figure, given the number of wives, that the schedule at the big house is pretty light on the women. Also, women living in the same house tend to menstruate around the same time. My guess is that if you gave me, Eddie Izzard, and Barry Gibb a shot at the red tent, we could find a few of those wives in dire need, and go through a fair share of bed towels. --

I think it goes back to Rhonda. Adalene noted how Rhonda really had done a number on Roman; Bill was instrumental in her leaving him. Roman probably felt real rejection because some young girl ran off rather than wanting to share a bed with the Prophet. Now that Nicki has run off from Bill, Roman may also have heard about Ana, it gives him a chance to take a dig. First, because like Roman, Bill was no more succesful trying to add a new wife. Second, because one of Bill's wife was seperated from him after no kids for several years. It restores Roman as being more virile. He has more wives, none of them ran off during his troubles, and he still enjoys them all.

Roman doesn't look like he has the strength to get his pajamas off! He was needling Bill, and probably because Nicolette only has 2 kids...and the Henrickson reproduction efforts have stalled. Well, I guess his sarcasm and holier-than-thou demeanor are going six feet under. I hope he hears everyone dancing on his grave! -- "I know you think I'm a dirty chinchilla" - Lois
