I figured it was coming sooner or later so when Sarah asked him to marry her, I wasn't surprised. I'm happy about it, but honestly.. I don't think it will last. Come Season 4, something is ought to happen. What do ya'll think? -- "I think the whole world needs help." -Sarah

I might get a little flaming for saying this, but if I had a daughter Sarah's age, I'd rather her date a doofus like Chad rather than a pansy like Scott. Chad would be irritating, but he doesn't seem the type that would cheat on a girlfriend, and excuse his actions by saying he did it because she wanted to remain a virgin until marriage. Chad brought Margene flowers after meeting her once. When has Scott ever did something special for Sarah, or told her he loved her? Even jackass Bill will go out of his way once in awhile to show his wives how much he loves them, and he tells them quite often too. > A > > -- > Cake or Death? > Um...cake. > Well - we're all out of cake- we only had three bits > and we didn't expect such a rush! > -----Eddie Izzard -- "President Davis, are you asking me to tell you what kind of underwear I have on?"-Barb.

We don't really know Scott didn't use a condom. Sometimes they break. Sometimes they slip off.

How do we know Scott did not use a condom? Condoms have been known to fail. Also, with every few posts, Scott seems to be getting older and older. I think he's 10 years older than Sarah (who is not exactly jailbait at 18). OK, so they had sex and she got pregnant. This happens every day with 14, 15 and 16 year olds whose partners are the same age. Which is worse? She was "old enough" at 17 when I'm sure many of us lost our virginity (give or take, I'm sure), so why keep villifying Scott? Sarah convinced him and it takes two to tango, IMO. Of course, if she were my own daughter, Scott would no longer be alive if my husband had his way. Dsc6 Actually, I don't think that a 29 year old man who sleeps with an 18 year old girl and doesn't bother with a condom is all that mature... It could be worse - it could be Chad! Just because Sarah and Scott get engaged or married, does not mean that she is not going to go to college. I think her best bet of figuring out what she really wants is to get married and go live somewhere far away from her family. She needs a normal life--and room to figure out the direction she wants to go and not just be surrounded by what she doesn't want. The age difference is actually working to her advantage, since he is more mature than she is. Here's hoping that he really is a good guy.
