.... and my Big Love withdrawals are already setting in. At some point I'll need an intervention to get past the cold sweats and shakes. How the heck are we supposed to make it until next season?? Seriously, all of the HBO series have been like crack for me. I've got every season of Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Carnivale, The Sopranos, Rome, and Sex and the City on DVD. I'll be adding True Blood to that list, too. I watch them over and over again whenever it's a snow day or I'm sick or just as background noise while I clean the house. The characters become dear to me, and then after five or six seasons, they disappear *sniffles*. I really hope BL sticks around for a full ten seasons. A spin off movie would be nice, too Anyway, this was just my rant. I'm going nuts waiting for the fourth season. I thought some of you might understand where my frantic outburst is coming from

I was thinking about expanding some of the character bio's on wikipedia. A lot of them don't have tabs, and they should! It would give some more excuse to talk about the characters, and proselytize to those who don't watch BL...yet.

Someone recently said they were not able to get BL there anymore but I just found it a few minutes ago. There are some episodes missing but the ones you want are there. Just an FYI, you cannot watch more than 60 minutes in a row, so you will have to watch the episodes one at a time. Good Luck. -- Well-behaved women rarely make history.......... Missed last 3 of Season 3-Help

Hi, I missed the last 3 episodes of Season 3 and can't figure out where to find them. My cable company discontinued them on their On Demand site. And HBO doesn't list them on their On Demand site. This is my favorite show and I was actually having a finale party with friends when we all discovered that I didn't have the shows on my dvr. Any suggestions? I don't think I can wait until January when they are released on DVD? Thanks! Waldo65

I feel your pain , all of us Big Love junkies.I feel like I have been mainlining and now the dealers gone lol.I have been getting into "In treatment " an excellent show that explores counseling and psychological treatment.I too am anxious for more "True blood and the other mentioned.however i just couldn't get into Carnivale.Sex in the City is always alot of fun too watch over and over again too.tonight I'm looking forward to "Medium".Did you catch "Grey Gardens"? a very well made movie with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange."Barb" aka Jeanne Tripplehorn was in it as Jackie Kennedy! She had a small part but she was just as awesome and beautiful as ever.I would love to see her do an entire movie as Jackie!Hang in there everyone!

Another good book is "Escape" by Carolyn Jessop. She was married to Merrill Jessop who (I think) was one of the men in charge of the compound in Texas after Warren Jeffs went to jail. She left with her 8 children but her oldest daughter returned as soon as she turned 18. -- Well-behaved women rarely make history.......... Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

inga047-thanks so much for mentioning the book; I hadn't heard about it , so I just ordered it from BetterWorld Books, new and used books ,profits used to improve literacy around the world . My apologies =the site is so great I had to mention it. I read Stolen Innocence by Elissa Wall, long before I ever heard of Big Love. It was pretty shockiing to me then, but she did get Warren Jeffs put away. So I'm looking forward to delivery. thanks again. I wonder why I'm so fascinated by this life style. Every time I want to scream aat the women for putting up with it, I remember the book, and that these compounds are hidden all over the place. right now. amazing

I have withdrawals too. I had seen the book, "Under the Banner of Heaven" mentioned here on the message boards and got it. It is really fascinating. There are parts of BL that are now more clear to me as a result of the information in the book. Only problem is I can't put the book down and wonder what I will do when I finish it!

LeeAnn -----!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was wondering why there isn't more outcry! I can honestly say this is the first tv show I've been TOTALLY addicted to. And it's Sunday night. Until yesterday , I could watch any of season 3 on HBO ON Demand, and would do the same as you; have it on in the morning when I was "putting my face on", whatever. Now they've removed it because they have new In Treatment, and The no1 Ladies Detective Agency. I like both, but NOTHING comares to BL. Producers have a nerve, too, they expect us to netflix it, which I'm not going to do. Sigh-----not even shooting till August, really. Just my rant.
