what would be your dream sl-something you want to see on Big Love?
For me-Id love a two or three eppys based in sole flashbacks showing us excatly how Bill met and fell for all his wives..
Imaigine Eppys one showing us not only the courthship of Bill and Barb-but also the sl of Nikkies first marriage and what she suffered?
Eppy two-Barbs cancer....Bill makeing his deal with roman...and what Margenes teen years where like
Eppy three-how barb adjusts to haveing Nikkie around-her reaction to the first time it hits her Bill is sleeping with Nikki and how margene came to the family.
Maybe its silly but these are things I want to see-not be told about but actully see on my screen.

I also feel his birth family are "real" too. I'm just no more or less "real" a mom than they.
I really hadn't thought of the dynamics of the group parenting in polygamy before and how they mirror other families with blended families, etc.. before? Is there a hierarchy of mother's? First bio then according to rank? Bio first then everyone else second? First wife first? They touched on it a bit with the will episode but it really left me confused. If Bill dies at the same time or after a wife dies which kid goes to which sister wife? Likely the surviving sister wives will all remarry different men. So confusing.
Why didn't Kathy have any kids? Did they go to someone else when the husband died? Her sister did, he was taken and held to secure her testimony. Why the DA didn't protect all the witnesses is beyond me?
Why didn't Nikki get to raise her daughter? Why did she stay with Jay Jay. I mean Nikki's father is head of Juniper Creek. Doesn't that seem odd? And why only one child?

I understand how you feel about the "real mother" description. I was raised by my "real" father who happens to have no biological relationship to me. He married my mother after my biological father divorced and abandoned us. "Real" is sticking around when things are tough.

Even though it's pretend I think it's awful Don lost all possibility of contact with his children and also Peg as she was a mother to those children too. Also Peg's children lost contact with their half siblings. Full siblings as a family. Of course Don's other kids have always had more than one mom. The two wives who left were 2 and 3.
The entire "real" mother comment bothers me. I adopted and it's a hurtful remark to suggest that an adoptive mom isn't a real mom or the my son isn't my real son. Are we all imaginary?
Pam and Carl are their friends cause they are as out of place to the community as the Hendrickson's, being childless. They aren't really accepted by the broader community and distance is kept.
Cindy adopted her younger daughter. Obviously Bill and Barb had more choices as an LDS family once she couldn't conceive. Though S. Korea wouldn't have been open to them for many years with a cancer diagnosis but since she's been cancer free for more than 5 years they'd be eligible for some adoption programs.

You know, I didn't think of that.
Those neighbors (whose names I can't remember because the darn show has been off for so long)...Oh yes, Pam and Carl...anyway, they would be a great couple to consider polygamy. If the show had more time, that is totally something they could explore.
This show should be a like a soap opera or weekly drama because there is SO many places to go with it. 12 episodes doesn't begin to cover it.

Yes, yes! They either need to reconcile or become complete Enemies! I want to see Bill and Barb convert the neighbors away from LDS. She can't have babies and hubby is not happy. Neighbor hubby needs another wife. Then the wife can later help raise the baby, making it difficult for the real mother to be with the baby. Then the real mother can leave with the baby etc. etc. What is fun about this story is the twist and turns will never end.
I think that Barbs daughter's LDS friend will eventually be a polygamist because of their tight bond, and a good person to leak inside information (because her dad is state patrol contacts etc.), especially if Niki helps coordinate it for Bill. Now the son needs to become a true LDS member and want to go on an LDS mission, dumping his girlfriend. He needs to be his dad's MAIN critic and climb up in the LDS faith. With the information he learns in the LDS church, he can charge Bill with apostasy and either later change his mind or always be a challenge for Bill and Barb.

I totally agree. I'd love to see HOW Bill came back to polygamy.
On a light and fluffly note, I'd like to see Niki and Bill truly reconcile. 
I'd also like to see Nicki get some help. She clearly had a messed up childhood and was married off to a sicko. I'd also like to hear her story.

I think you should get a job writing for BL! Those are all of the things I would like to know also. Particularly how Bill ended up turning to Roman when Barb was sick because it seems like the polygamy evolved from that. And since Barb's family appears to be well-off, it is hard for me to understand why they did not step in to help Bill and Barb if it was financial need.

I would like to see how Bill became LDS and then left for polygamy. I would like him to explain why he struggled with current LDS teachings becoming a fundamentalist. Was it Joseph Smith or Brigham Young? Was it the question on the what is true church history? Was it judgmental LDS members? Was it because he needed help to take care of the kids when his wife was sick, needing extra support, returning to his roots/family? Did Barbs family not step in to help during that time?
Bill is clearly complex but I don't understand his motivation for being a polygamist other then sex. And frankly, it would be a lot easier for Bill just to go to a strip club then practice polygamy. Bill seem intelligent enough and seems to believe in it. Why?

That would be a great story to show.
I would love to see them film how each neighbor sees their life. How the neighbors react to the comings and goings of the compound people and someone peeking over the back of the fence looking in.

I love the ideas about flashing back to how the family came to be.
TTP, I have to disagree about Roman. I think that they had explored him as far as they could. Otherwise it would just be another season of Roman trying to hold on to his power and someone else trying to take it from him. Now we get to see the struggle and conflict that goes on when a new Prophet comes to power and his ascension is not a done deal before the old Prophet dies. Plus, I really hate it when a show only pretends that someone dies then brings back their character. That scenario has been Done to Death (IMO). I think this season is going to be really interesting.

My dream storyline would be that Roman is not in fact dead. Rather Joey and everyone on the compound thinks that he is dead. Roman eventually comes back, takes full charge of the compound and plays the arch rival to Bill as it should be. Sadly, this dream story line will unlikely ever come to be. While I am sure Big Love might be able to squeeze a season or two out.....without Roman as the nemasis I doubt it will go to far. Sure JJ, Alby, the Greens and such can make things interesting for a while......Roman was what MADE Juniper Creek and that whole aspect of Big Love. Who knows why Stanton wont be back as Roman, but it is a terrible loss.

Well I for one would love to see some flashbacks of Nicki's childhood....ever since season one where Roman was laying on the bed with Nicki during Wayne's b-day party I have believed Roman abused her....I too would like to see what happened between her and JJ
Nicki abused the situation when she was caring for Barb....if not for her Bill would have still been a one woman man....it must have been extremely painfull for Barb...
I want to SEE what happened to Bill's sister
I want as much Margie airtime as possible!!!!! She is fun, young and instead of Nicki being the source of drama I feel that Margie will be the majority of the drama this yr.....most of Nicki's secrets are out lol
I want Bill to switch his focus back to his wives....in season 1 he was so sexy....he has become much more manipulative and he has been making decisions that have put his family in danger....he needs to rememmber what is important
I REALLY WANNA SEE BARB DRUNK LOL....she is so uptight....some careless boozing could do her some good. and for the love of crap i am sick of her and her sister fighting all the time
