I always got a kick out of seeing what the fighters chose to come out to when heading to the ring if it would be interesting music, or wearing funny outfits or a combo of both. To me Prince Naseem did both really well. What do you think?

i liked charles matthews ring entrance. he was a local fighter from port arthur texas in the late 70's. he would come to the ring with big booty white girls in short shorts. bear in mind that this was in east texas where this was going on. now that took balls!

even though MAB and Johny Tapia are friends it has nothing to do with that. I think Jim Lamply said it's his mother's name or some shit like that

July 26, 2009 REST IN PEACE VERNON FORREST By G. Leon It is with great regret that Boxingtalk reports that one of our closest friends, two-division champion Vernon "The Viper" Forrest, was murdered in Atlanta, Georgia at approximately 11PM last night. Other than the information already reported by various news outlets, Boxingtalk understands that one of the suspects may have grabbed Forrest's wallet and ran while he was putting air in his tires. An armed Forrest allegedly chased off the suspect, who ran into the woods, at which point Forrest gave up the chase, likely because he was with his girlfriends child. Seconds later the gunman resurfaced, shot Forrest in the back once and fired several more shots from point blank range. Boxingtalk would like to send our deepest condolences to the entire Forrest family during this time of tragedy. Forrest was a two time welterweight champion and two time junior middleweight champion. He made his mark in January 2002 by defeating a then undefeated Sugar Shane Mosley at Madison Square Garden. Forrest would defeat Mosley again that year, en route to winning fighter of the year honors.

I must admit this topic does fall into the category of the inane. Perhaps the hosts have seen the attention the megalomaniacal BogaBoga has garnered with his many derivations of Floyd Mayweather hate topics and are out to impress similarly? WTF? -- Stay Thirsty My Friends!

We are sad to report that former world champion Vernon Forrest was tragically and senselessly murdered at about 11PM on Saturday night in Atlanta during an attempted carjacking. Reportedly Forrest had stopped at a gas station to put air in the tire of his late model Jaguar when two thugs attempted to take his vehicle. Forrest had a firearm and a chased away his assailants but according to Atlanta police, in an ensuing firefight Forrest was shot eight times with semi-automatic weapons.

I got a question why are all the Official Threads so stupid? This topic is retarded. What are we supposed to do, talk about Roger Mayweather's sombrero? Who cares?! Why don't you guys spend less time starting dumb threads and erasing posts and more time updating the website. You guys had an article on the opening page about the upcoming fight between De La Hoya and Pacquaio until April. Why don't you start a boxing fantasy league or somethingelse thats a little more worthwhile? What is your next topic going to be? What's Your Favorite Color of Boxing Gloves?
