Hey guys, I just wrote an article about Klitschko, Haye, and the heavyweight division. Facts are facts Haye should have no problem out boxing and knocking out these fat journeymen that people like to call heavyweight contenders. http://www.expertarticles.com/article/Recreation-Sports/The-Heavyweight-Savior-.html -- Edited by scottjarvis123 at 07/14/2008 2:50 PM PDT

After Wlad KO'd yet another loser I knew everyone would be jumping on him once more. Its just sad that a guy with his skills has to waste time training for mandatory fights that the sanctioning bodies put up. I mean look at Ray Austin for example, did he ever deserve a shot, hell no. Everyone rips on the heavyweight division simply because there is not a single US Heavyweight who could take a title right now and defend it more than once or twice before caughing it up. Give Wlad his due, he has a 90% KO ratio and has done everything in his own power to try to unify belts. Plus there is not a boxer in the world who is as intelligent as he is and when you put that with the power he has, he'll be champion for a long time! This talk about his chin needs to stop too because I've been watching him for years and aside from his last defeat a few years back, he hasn't come close to being hurt since because he's improved his skills with Steward.

My fault. Maybe Peter was punching him behind the head. But when a goes down as much as Klitschko, its hard for him to get the benefit of the doubt you know.

P.S. Haye could fight nothing but former heavywieght champions & not get tested. There are enough of them around.

Haye should fight Klitz next. He may not have earned it , but I'd like to see it. Please don't ever mention Ruiz & heavywieght title in the same sentence. Don King virtually held the heavywieght division hostage with Ruiz for like 7yrs. The heavywieght divisions is full of bums & not because it is dominated by white fighters. If Ruiz were champ again ( GASP! ) it would even more proof that it's dominated by bums. The Klitz aren't bums @ all , but the rest of the division is. Sad thing is , Peter has a chance to win. ( Punchers chance ) Chances are lewis could beat every but the Klitz for his first fight back , if he ever retires. Klitz vs Klitz to unify , is the match to see.

It's not that today's top heavyweights are white that bothers most it's the fact that they suck relative to most other eras in the sports' history.

Since when did getting put on your ass three times mean you beat somebody easy? Fact is Peter is such a bum he could beat a guy that fell everytime he hit him. That fight showed exactly what each fighter is. Klitschko is a decent technical fighter who's just lucky enough to be fighting in probaly worst heavyweight era ever. Peter is a flat out bum that can hit hard. If he can catch guys with his power he's cool, if he can't he'll lose. Read my posts more carefully, hitking.I didn't say Klitschko won the fight with Peter easily.I said he would beat Peter in the rematch easily and that is because Klitschko figured him out by the end of their first fight and the referee in a 2nd fight,at the Klitschko camp's insistance, will be wary of Peter's dirty tactics and not allow him to rabbit punch, rabbit punching is the only reason Sam Cheater knocked Klitschko down three times. When we hear phrases like "..the worst heavyweight era ever" we know that the hater is really saying that he doesn't like a heavyweight division dominated by White fighters.

One problem. Ike Ibeabuchi will not be released until 2013 at the earliest.

Now all you guys are throwing several names on the ship, but there is one real heavyweight that could do some damage if his crazy ass can be controlled and thats Ike Ibeabuchi! Now think, if he gets out of prison in 1 year if things go well, 2 fights in less than 8 months, just maybe the money will be good enough for Klitschko to fight him. Then knowing his handlers, they would totally wait till Ike went AWOL! Now that would be a good fight to see, especially if Ike can get back into form like he was against Tua. I know im pushing it, but why not, hell Tyson and Holyfield have all come back from some dumb stuff! -- Edited by uconn35 at 07/13/2008 9:20 PM PDT

Fellas, the only thing that Haye has in common with Holyfield is that their name starts with the same letter and they both fought at cruiserweight. Haye has an Achilles chin, while Holyfield had a chin of granite, i.e. at cruiserweight. Haye is one helluva puncher, but Wladdy would knock him dead - highlight reel style even. -- http://www.fightinsight.com/2008/07/08/dr-steelhammer-will-nail-thompson-to-the-canvas/

Haye is not a heavyweight who matters yet.He hasn't beaten anybody. If the match with Maskaev actually happens Haye will KO the hapless Big O within 3 for a spectacular highlight reel and then we'll hear a little hype for a matchup with Klitschko which may happen because there are few contenders exciting the public right now.Arreola may be one of them. Klitschko is hiding behind his mandatories!?!? What kind of a ridiculous statement is that? These guys he's fighting and beating are, unlike Haye, legitimately and highly ranked. Let me remind you also that Klitschko already beat Peter and nearly KOd him in the last round. If a rematch occurs (with a ref that won't allow Peter's rabbit punching) Big K will beat him easier and maybe even KO him. -- Edited by CaptainMarvell at 07/13/2008 8:06 PM PDT

That's why I wish Klitschko would stop hiding behind is mandatories and make the fights with Peter and Haye happend. Fact is those are the only other two heavyweights in the world that matter. Did anyone else find it interesting that the HBO crew was trying to pump up Valuev yeasterday as a possible dangerous opponent for Klitschko. I glad Lennox Lewis had the balls to shot down Lampley and Merchant on that garbage.

Unbelieveably Ruiz will get a shot at the interim WBA heavyweight title against Nicolai Valuev soon. Old heavyweights don't die, they keep on getting title shots, because no new heavyweights are taking their places!
