Do you agree with Mayweather? I have to say that I was really impressed with Dawson. When I saw Dawson fight Glenn Johnson I didn't think much of him because I thought Johnson fought great and it could have gone either way. I think the speed of Dawson and his combinations and movement were great. He beat Tarver soundly. Where does Dawson rank on your pound for pound best list?

Mayweather does not know what a P4P fighter is!! He ran away from Cotto, Margarito and Paul Williams. They would have rocked his world and taken his status, and thats what P4P fighter does take risks and conquer them!! I give all the credit in the world to Cotto for wanting to climb in the ring with Margarito. Someone say Chicken de la Mayweather??? Stay retired or take real chances then talk about P4P.

Dawson is his buddy. You can't say that because Dawson has not fought what I would call a great fighter. Just going off the Johnson fight I would say no.

Big - you make some good points. But Dawson has been in with some pretty quick guys not to mention guys that hit like a sledgehammer. Tarver still has pretty quick hands for an old timer. Joe is a slapmaster. He won't do anything to discourage Dawson with those pitty pats. And Daswon will only need to land one or two solid shots in combination to put Joe down. That's the best fight out there imo. I said it on another thread. I tired of Champs makin' their bones and then movin down in weight to capture titles. That ass backwards from the way its supposed to be.

Yesterday. Did you see Rubio's last fight? Ornelas was pounding him. Pavlik hits a lot harder. Rubio's been KO'd before. If Jantuah can do it Pavlik won't have a problem.
Guzman doesn't pound on anyone. He's a defensive fighter. Not saying he can't beat Manny. Most likely he will get caught with the straight right trying to get out of the way of a Pacman barrage similar to Marquez and have to struggle to come from behind.

GunRunner2, no disrespect, but when was the last time you got a pick right? You swore up and down Pav would beat B-Hop up, right? So now you're going to tell us a fighter as technically sound as Guzman can't beat freaking Manny Pacquaio-come on.
Rubio will lose in 5-come on-how can you be so sure all the time? Then what if Rubio beats Pav-what excuse will it be-B-Hop took alot out of him-or Pav was sick again?
If Guzman beats Manny the hell up like I think he would-would it be cause Oscar ruined him or the weight loss did it? You know it will never stop-nothing personal-all this shit reminds me of regular conversations in the barber shop.

Rubio took some solid shots from Ornelas. Pavlik will KO him in 5. He may be solid but his chin can't withstand the heavy hands that Pavlik will lay on him.
Soto can't beat Manny and neither can Guzman. Marquez is the only one of the three who stands a chance there. Somehow Manny is getting no credit for stepping all the way up to 147. I don't get it.

REALspicy, you're saying crazy shit like Cal should fight Tarver and Pav-what's the point in fighting those guys. They were just dominated in their last fights. Pav only needs to worry about 160-I want to see what's going to happen when he fights Rubio-Rubio isn't that bad of a fighter-so lets see how that fight turns out. Chad Dawson or Glenn Johnson are the only fighters I want to see him fight if he's going to continue to fight. I don't think he needs to dominate 175 like he did 168 just so you wont think he's gay. You know your buddy Pac had a lot of unfinished biz @ 135-3 fighters-good fighters followed him up to 135-2 were undefeated and he ran. Matter of fact-Soto, Guzman, Marquez and the guy with all knockouts have been publicly calling Pac out for years. Marquez went to the Philippines to put him on blast.

All right, never mind Pav, because I just refuse to believe a top guy can't even win 1 round against a guy 17 years older-so don't bring up Pav no more please? Who has looked better in recent fights Jones or Tarver, no sarcasm-look @ their last couple of performances.
Both haven't looked their best but other than Cal-imo Jones has looked better than Tarver. Everybody and their grandma knows Roy was past his prime even though he's only 2 years older than Calzaghe-only 2 years older.
Why yall keep talkn about Roy's prime-we all grew up watching him, both of these guys wanted the fight 50/50 split-nobody force Roy to take the fight-he's a grown ass man so what kind of point are yall making. Now Cal would've looked bad if he loss or if the fight was close given how faded Roy was but he did what he was suppose to do.
What were the odds in their fight cause I can bet money it wasn't as bad as Taylor vs Lacy-the odds were 5 to 1 for their fight. REALspicy, no disrespect but you're kind of like Kastidis, you can't hang with the big dawgs-so if it's not about Pacquiao just don't say nothing.

Mann - Jones has been washed up for a couple years now. If you haven't seen the degradation then you haven't been paying attention. I would say Bernard is a pretty good win for Joe especially now that we saw Bernard school Pavlik. Joe has been around the game long enough where he should be making some noise. He's quick and has some decent skills. The criticism is that he's too cautious.
Indeed! Calzagay should have chosen Kelly Pavlik, win, and gained respect...
