The fistic debate as to who is the best will finally be settled Saturday, March 15 when World Boxing Council (WBC) super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez defends his title against three-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. Discuss this fight here.

i definitely don't want to see a rematch between OSCAR and FLOYD. I thought Floyd one 8-4, the judges had it different. If the judges and the fans would have responded to the fight properly then it wouldn't be happening again. Aparently fans has persuaded Oscar that he can win, or he won the first fight.

You cant be that stupid to think that the only reason PBF and ODH are fighting again is because it was a close fight. This rematch is nothing more than a payday for both of these assholes and should not be supported. It just baffles me that you defend Floyd to this point, its really pathetic.

I don't recall Mayweather ever doing this. I'm no MP fan, but hasn't he fought JMM twice now. They could fight for 10 times and you're still going to get the same thing. Controversy. No matter who wins. Neither fighter dominates the other. That what distinguishes Mayweather from most boxers. He has won 38 of 39 fights convincingly and the one he didn't he had a rematch for. Some of you felt like Oscar beat him, and that why that fight has a rematch as well. Don't complain about him fighting Oscar when many of you claimed he lost.

Thats enough from you....I'm not a big Mayweather fan but I've seen his name in too many of your post. Your starting to sound like an angry ex-girlfriend that is out for revenge.

Well said. I have a great deal of respect for both of these fighters and would have applauded the winner either way. I believe much the same as you do that Manny Pacquiao's energy level is too much for Juan Manuel and will earn him a victory again.

Quote from Michael Koncz (pacquiao adviser):

Marquez should have lost by split decision in their first fight and a judge admitted he made a mistake in scoring a draw instead of a one-point advantage for Manny. I don?t think there was any controversy in the second fight, except in the minds of Marquez? people. Because of their styles, every time Manny and Marquez fight, it will always be close. Why give Marquez a chance to win? Marquez is begging for a third fight because he?s got nowhere else to go for a big purse. He?s 34 and Manny?s beaten him twice.

I agree. i think he has hit his peak weight and its downhill from here.

but he may do a mayweather and fight blown uo featherweights and say he is the best fighter in LW.

Pacquiao will have to box to beat Diaz who is naturally bigger and stronger than Manny. Diaz is not a big puncher but wears down his opponent through attrition, not so much by any particular skill and talent. Manny will not be able to back Diaz up so he must move, circle and box. Even though a third fight with J.Marquez would prove more profitable than any current opponent in the lightweight division, the fact that he's had to dry out so much recently to make 9st.4lb. almost necessitates the move. For enough money I'm sure Marquez would be willing to meet at lightweight and give everyone the third fight they're wanting to see. Watching those two fight is much like R.Marquez-Vazquez, it just never gets old no matter how many times they do it.

I think Manny thought the fight would be a draw again and congratulated JMM for a "Great" fight. Afterall, his number one goal is to make the fight entertaining to everyone. :-p

Manny is keen on fighting JMM again coz he know he will earn more money with it than fighting anyone at LW. However, from what I heard from someone inside Manny's circle, Manny will fight David first to leave a very good legacy in boxing. After defeating JMM, he became the 1st asian to win 3 division world titles. Defeating DDD will be his 4th.

Manny will fight JMM but it will be at LW. The starving and the painful lossing of weight is taking much of Pac's power and speed(dang I'll pay double just to see this fight). Let's just pray that the boxing Gods will enlighten the stubborn mind of Bob Arum. Because at the end of the day, Pac will fight whoever and wherever Bob Arum wants him to fight.
