Strongest debuts...

Every fighter has to start somewhere. What are some of your picks for strongest debuts by one? Did that strong debut equate into a good overall career?

Thee best debut on HBO was David Tua's 19 second asswhippen of John Ruiz. Did you all noticed that Ruiz has been a clincher ever since?

> one of my best friends is a pro boxer... his pro debut was one of the best ive ever seen . he kod his opponent in about 1 minute of the first round with one punch. it was a great shot the place went crazy! it was a southpaw right hook over top of a jab. the kid was instanly kod. since then he has been fighting with a few chronic injuries and he hit a rough patch in his career. he is still very young and didnt have much amatuer experience so he is still lerning. he did howver just break his small losing streak and he has a fight in boston this weekend.. his name is broderick antoine.. maybe someone will be on hand to see him fight. if so youll see he is alot better than his 2-4 record indicates.. this guy just dosent have the experience of the guys hes fighting. he only had like 18 amatuer fights. so he is still l learning.

Cool. They all have to start somewhere, right? My best friend lives in Boston, but I don't think she's much of a boxing fan. Maybe I can convince her to go for me *s*

No one made a bigger splash in Boxing than did Mike Tyson regardless of what came about in his personal life. When his head was right he was unstopable. We got some good years from Iron Mike. His name is etched in Boxing history and everyone will always be looking for the next Mike Tyson.

What about the ring side girls??
Since 1990's I remember HBO used to minimize the screen to show the corner and fighter while the beautiful models reminded us of what round it was. How many of you guys like to be reminded again?
