Only a couple more weeks remain before the fight. There are two 24/7s under foot and two more to go. Do you think Manny will be able to handle the weight? Do you think Oscar can "pull the trigger?"

Absolutely Sickening. This is going to be a horrible match up. If Oscar and Freddie have a personal feud. Let them fight each other. Pacman is a good fighter, but He simply cannot beat DeLaHoya. Oscar has been up against bigger and stronger opponents. Trinidad,Vargas, Mayorga. All fighters that have way more punching power than Pacman. REmember when Oscar was a KO artist. He fought at Welter weight and below. When he moved up in weight he couldn't KO anyone. Oscar may not be able to pull the trigger like he used to but he has more than enough to beat Pacman. > but what I do see is Manny getting hurt. This might mirror the 1st Chavez fight.< I Figured you all would have seen through the BS! by now. Why?would Oscar risk damaging his future Investment. He doesn't want to damage Manny. My guess is Oscar gives Manny the shot at his biggest paycheck to date and in return protects and blows up a future investment by making Pac look as good as he can without utterly humilating himself in the process then Oscar buys out Mannys contract with Arum without Pacs objection and/or with Mannys influence. Then: Hocus Pocus GBP has a new cash cow.One who has big fights written all over his fore head one who could possibly lure FMJr out of retirement.Damn the Politics But they make for interesting cases. -- Edited by dj30 at 11/28/2008 5:10 PM PST

This fight wasn't all Oscar's idea-Freddie pumped Pacman's head up making him think he's better than what he is and he's basically dugg Manny's grave for him. This fight is going to be sad to watch after awhile and Freddie and Manny's whole team will be in the ring crying like they were when he loss to Eric the 1st time. Freddie has ran his mouth and now Manny has to back that shit up-I see a flat out ass whooping-Freddie will be in the ring crying on fight night-I just hope Manny is able to recover. I watched the 24/7 and my heart really opened up to him-he comes to the ring with his whole country on his back. Honestly, I would like to see him win, but honestly I just don't see, but what I do see is Manny getting hurt. This might mirror the 1st Chavez fight.

This fight is DESPICABLE!!! Of all the fighters to choose from in the loaded WW div, Oscar chooses little Pacman. What a fraud! Golden Boy Prom and Top Rank don't give a sh*t about making quality fights for boxing fans, they only care about $$$. Do you see the way they actually try to sell this crap on 24/7? I won't be purchasing this fight. I refuse to pay $50 for these fake fights.

Anyone who truly believes that Manny Pacquiaos connnnnstant pressure and aggression is gonna win this fight for him is an idiot. First off, he is always been there to hit back and ganist DeLa Hoya he will be even more exposed due to the leaping in he will use to negate DeLa Hoyas height and reach advantage. Manny has shown problems with those who have good movement and especially a good jab.(Morales) He also is a sucker for good counterpunchers(marquez) and despite not going down he was almost KO'd by Marquez by a counter left hook. So the bigger, stronger and more experienced DeLa Hoya will move, jab and counter punch Pacquiao into the one dimensional fighter that he once and I think still is. And the best answer to the southpaw is the left hook and straight right and DeLa Hoya has both. Oscar should being a punk and fight a true Welterweight.(Margarito)

Although I'm not a Pacquaio fan, Freddie seems to have done a good job training him, therefore appears to know what he's doing. Roach has transposed Manny from a one punch fighter to a more dimensional fighter. I think that will show on fight night.

De La Hoya's gonna win. Manny's got speed but will he be that fast with all that weight gained? When De La Hoya fought Hopkins, he was younger, faster and had to come up in weight. But he lost to the crafty ol' veteran. All Oscar has to do is use that left jab of his to set up his attacks and follow Beristain's advice. De La Hoya should've picked someone bigger, this one's a mismatch!

Your statement that Freddie Roach 'might not know what he is doing' was unclear. Although I'm not a Pacquaio fan, Freddie seems to have done a good job training him, therefore appears to know what he's doing. -- *Chanting* There's only one Ricky Hatton, one Ricky Hatton! Freddie Roach has Parkinson's Disease, which affects him physically not mentally. What ever affects you physically effects your mentality! Don't feel so special, I think the whole world agrees! lol Lolz! I know! Its go to be INSANE to see Manny winning over Oscar! -- ________________________ If your achievement were already archived by others, what you have gained is a little part of the achievement that others have already achieved... Freddie Roach has Parkinson's Disease, which affects him physically not mentally. As I've stated before, once the boxer steps into the ring, it's all on him, regardless of who his team is. -- *Chanting* There's only one Ricky Hatton, one Ricky Hatton! Today I watched Manny vs Barrera/Morales/Marquez again. These are all great fighters. And Manny was able to beat them at their own game. They don't have the power of Oscar but they all have equal or greater speed. And Marquez is the only one of the three who is even mildly able to stun Manny. Oscar will have a hard time catching Manny imo. But I do agree with most that if he can land a solid left hook it's all over. I'm sure both Manny and Roach know that too. But for the weight that have been added to Manny Pacquiao, I dont really think Pacquiao has the reflexes and speed he had/has! And what is another thing that I am concern is Freddy R. is sick and might not know what he is doing.. And Nacho is really one of the greatest Trainer out there that Oscar have acquired. I think Oscar has now that those other Mexicans dont have is a better team... Oscar has it now! I think! However, I dont think Oscar can end it with ONE left hook.. And I dont think Manny could end it with a BIG body punch! But as always, my analysis tells me that its an Oscar fight! -- ________________________ If your achievement were already archived by others, what you have gained is a little part of the achievement that others have already achieved...
