Cotto has other problem to deal with. It is not PBF yes it is MARGARITA and yes Margarita will blow Cotto out the frame and for a fact run over Cotto like a MACK Truck. The only thing I see right now is PBF setting up a fight with Margarita and call it RETIREMENT WITH A BIG BANG. Just remember PBF called out the GOLDEN BITCH in his prime when he was at 130 pounds, DHL replied "you're too small", the out come He was too QUICK!!!!!!

I would rather see Oscar fight Miguel Cotto in Puerto Rico than Mayweather vs. De La Hoya II. While he looked fairly good against Forbes, I believe a rematch against Floyd Jr will result in the same outcome. In my opinion, Cotto vs. De La Hoya would be a more competitive fight. In addition, since Oscar lives in Puerto Rico, a fight against Cotto on the island seems to me like a natural. If Oscar doesn't fight Cotto, I would then love to see Tito Trinidad slim down to a catch weight of about 156lbs and take on Miquel Cotto, either in Puerto Rico or preferably for me, at New York's Madison Square Garden.

DLH showed flashes of his old self. He showed a stinging jab and good hand speed. DLH is still competitive but he fail to make us believe, that the outcome of a Mayweather/DLH II, will be any different. True, he won by a UD. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, he didn't win in a spectacular fashion. He didn't get the KO. In this fight, DLH paced himself, whereas in other fights, he would fade in the later rds. Perhaps, what we are looking at is a DLH hybrid of the old and new. We are getting a mixed bag of sorts. The new improved version, that gets more miles per gallon. Beep,Beep here comes Oscar!

They both stunk up the joint. Oscar is too afraid of getting hit by a true 147lb'er. That's why he fought "feather-fisted" Forbes - 9ko's. Why doesn't he go against Margarito? Horrible fight. Horrible match making. And again, Emanuel "I'll lick Oscar's jockstrap" Steward kissing Oz's butt again. I could have beaten Forbes last night. Disgusting. AG

Uh, Oscar looked pretty good offensively last night true enough. But what does that really mean against someone like Forbes. Oscar had nothing to be really worried about, as far as getting knocked out. Defensively, Oscar did not look that good against Forbes. I will say this, Forbes did alot better than I thought he would and he can take a good punch. Beating Forbes proved absolutely nothing though for Oscar. Forbes is nowhere near the talent of Floyd. Not offensively or defensively. If Oscar thinks this fight means he will beat Floyd he is ridiculous. Oscar can work the jab against Floyd, this is true, because he is taller and does have a good jab. Floyd is not really a jabber. Oscar will have to fight better against Floyd than he did against Forbes if he expects to have a different outcome than before. If you make FLoyd actually fight with you bad things can happen he is quick, a very sharp puncher and hard to hit inside and out. I really think that you pressure Floyd and make him fight you bring out the nasty in him and then...well ask Hatton what happens. True, Hatton aint no Oscar but still it shows what can happen if you make Floyd fight. Oscar should fight Cotto rather than Floyd. -- Douglas

Oscar did what everyone expected him to do. He looked very good and showed at the age of 35 he still has a little left. But people PLEASE stop with all the PBF BS. If Oscar faught PBF when they were both in their prime it would be no contest.. You can't even think of compairing their records. PBF has never and probly will never come close to fighting the level of compititon ODH has. I say this having always disliked ODH. But you have to give credit where its due.

Everyone going back and forth back and forth about PBF,, I say forget a wasteful 12 rounds with De lahoya, fight Cotto and get the shit done and over with. If you loose who cares, These haters aint gone give you the respect you deserve anyway,,,,,,, and why would that effect Floyds legacy if he didnt win.........NEWS FLASH Cotto is a excellent fighter..............Honestly I think Cotto would win a fight with Mayweather......PBF is not scared of Cotto, I think he is just scared to loose. He just needs to get in there with him give all these loud mouths what they want too see...........But if he wins then what,,,,,,oh I know,,,,,, I bet pretty boy Floyd bitch ass cant beat Mike tyson,,,,,,PBF make the fight dude seriously...........................

We all know it was a tune up fight however 2 pound did not back down and anything is possible inside the ropes .He did well for himself considering the opposition plus he had a nice payday. i do believe Oscar should have always used this boxing style instead of the crouching stuff and rolling of the shoulder that he used in some previous fights. I have said for years this is his best style. In fact he never should be crouching at all if he wants to win in the upcoming fights. i am curious of who he intends to fight after Floyd Mayweather Jr. ? One more comment it is truly amazing on how Mayweather Jr. and Sr. just don't get along , my mind will not allow me to even guess what that might be like. -- ALONZO VILLALPANDO DALLAS, TEXAS

Forget the B-Hop analysis, Demetrius Hopkins was as convincing against Forbes as Oscar. Think about it ....

Forbes is a good fighter, small, but he's a good fighter and he gave Oscar a little work, but Oscar had that fight hands down. Big deal he had a few bruises-it happens-Oscar has a light completion-give him a couple of jabs and you'll see some bruises. The same thing can be said about B-Hop bragging about a couple of bruises on Calzaghe's face-Joe is white-land a couple of shots and you'll see some bruises-nothing to brag about. Bottom line-the judge's, HBO's cheer leading team and certain fans thought Floyd struggled against Oscar, but I saw a unanimous decision for Floyd.

People questioned Sugar Ray, Hearns and Duran for not fighting Pryor-it happens-but guess what-all 3 are Hall of Fame fighters/legends and even if Floyd doesn't fight either Margarito or Cotto-he's a shoe in for the Hall of Fame and he'll definitely go down as the best fighter in his era. Floyd and Shane are the only WW that can retire 2day and make the Hall of Fame. Cotto is good, but he's never defeated a current champ-Margarito is good but his claim 2 fame is Cintron, Clottey and I think he defeated 6 heads Lewis not exactly Hall of Fame material. Cotto is on his way I hope-but not quite Hall of Fame yet.

It's ironic that these nutlickers know that the true Oscar is the guy who struggled against Forbes and is the same guy that PBF struggled to beat. Oscar was, and is, way past his best. Hatton was ineffective and still is at 147lb. Floyd is blessed, in that, he can pop around the weights selecting suitable opponents. It is a great credit to his athleticism that he is able to utilise his talents in different divisions, but he should walk-the-walk and give the fans what they want instead of hopping around, in and out of retirement and WWE. I'm a Hatton fan, but do I seriously think that he is comfortable at 147 and could say, go toe-to-toe with Margarito? ........... NO WAY!!!. Floyd has no choice but to challenge these top 147lbers he is "evading", because his legacy will be forever questioned if he doesn't. I personally feel that more than one current welterweight can beat him .....
