Also, to all you Oscarsexual males out there, your boy looked VERY hittable last night. Given, Little Stevie Forbes couldnt punch his way out of a paper bag, still, he was landing some great counter punches on Oscar early.

Pretty Boy is 1000 times faster than Forbes and punches a lot harder. Ask Mr. Hatton about the check hook.

Oscar threw 35 jabs in round 4, because he had an opponent in front of him with about a 5=6 inch reach disadvantage, and about a 5 inch height disadvantage, who is not a hard puncher. That is all of the Floyd Mayweather Sr. magic he has going for him, is "jab more and move your head"

When Oscar faces the slicker, faster, much more elusive, harder punching Money May, he will be forced to abandon the jab, or get countered to death. Floyd Jr. is faster of hand and foot than Little Stevie, and 1000 times stronger. Oscar will pay for all his sins, on September 20th.

The fight was a FARCE and HBO ought to be ashamed, of it's biased and pom pom waving crew, all they needed to do was go "OSCAR OSCAR HES OUR MAN, HE CANT DO IT NO ONE CAN (clap clap clap, clap clap clap) GOOOOO OSCAR!!! YAY! What a biased crew. Jim Lampley and Emmanuel Steward were jockeying for position in which to kiss his Golden Ass.

We ARE Team Mayweather....GO MONEY!!!!

Sensetalk-your funny @ times I can tell you that. You were the 1 saying Hatton would beat Floyd now your saying both Hatton & Oscar are old. Calzaghe is the man IMO-but B-Hop is old 4 a fighter-still one of the best but he's old. Say wht you want but since moving up 2 WW-Floyd has fought 5 times and 4 were against champions. Zap was a WW champ-Baldi was the recognize WW champ-Oscar was a champ @ 154 and Hatton was the recognized champ @ 140-not bad-hate on hater's.

Oh yeah-@ the time Shane didn't want any part of him-Cotto was struggling @ 140 and Margarito was just a title holder-Baldi was the WW champ-the man get it? 5 out of 4 guys were champs-the last great 2 do something like that was Tito-when he defeated Ocsar, Reid, Thiam, Vargas and Joppy and even though he didn't defeat B-Hop-he was the 5th champ in 6 fights-not bad. Who else fought back 2 back champs like Mayweather and Trinidad-damn sure not Oscar.

If Oscar is old then what is B-hop. You were one of the ones who thought Hatton would beat Mayweather. Accept that Mayweather beat the hell out of yo boy Hatton, and would do it at any weight anytime.

Mayweather is a clown-prince who will eventually meet his maker. Fighting OldMan Oscar or Hatton at 147lb is cheating the fans really. O.k, he's going for the money fights, but he will have to fight some of these hard-hitting headhunting welters and that's when he'll be found out.

Steve who...................... lost fight clearly,,but actually he didnt do to bad , he rearranged Oscars face a bit, but just a total mismatch. He looked like a little kid in the ring compared to Oscar but he still didnt look that bad ,,,,,,, Has greats hand speed ,,,,a liittle swagger with showmanship in the ring just outclassed by a legend,,not having no power doesnt help though thats pretty evident by only having 9 knockouts in 39 fights ........Did Steve Forbes not look that bad or did Oscar not look that good ,,,,,,,,,what do you think community, come back.........

Please tell me I'm not the only 1 that's tired of hearing about Oscar's looks-he's a fighter-I could give a damn how he looks-what I care about is how good his skills are. Most talk smack about Floyd, but he was with Top Rank around the same time as Oscar-has always been the superior fighter, but he was in Oscar's rear view mirror the whole time.

Don't compare Floyd to Roy-compare him to B-Hop, cause he's a guy that's upset with the system-only thing is Floyd is finally getting even. He's struggled 4 over 9 years-while Oscar made half a million 4 his 1st pro fight. Floyd is doing way more than what Oscar has done-he's really talented-dancing with the stars-wrestling-waving flags in Indy 500-record company-he's in control of his destiny and most of yall hate it. If he beats Cotto I wouldn't be surprised if yall thought 4 him to be great he would have to face Pavlik.

Without Floyd this site would be boring. Oscar looked just like he did in his prime to me, but better in some ways. He fought hard for 12 long rounds-I'm drained just going 3 rounds and I'm in damn good shape. I wonder could Oscar fight like that if Forbes had a punch. Floyd will beat Oscar again and I believe he would've did it in Oscar's prime.

Speaking of Lampley being a cheer leader-did yall here cheer leading ass Manny claiming Oscar had one of the best left jabs in ther history of boxing. You know bck in the day commentators you to tell the fan what they saw blow by blow-you could turn on the radio and here it blow by blow-but all they do now is ride the bandwagon train. Forbes was landing a few good 1's while their talking about Floyd and Oscar's rematch-

pacman "mayweather does not have a questionable chin how many times has he been rocked his entire career twice? and he's come back to dominate his apponent. i can't stand him but he's an incredible talent"

I have to admit... you're right. BUT... in BEING right.... the supreme irony here is that's the SAME THING COTTO DID. He has been truly "rocked" twice by my count, and has come back to overwhelm and dominate. The beef most people with their eyes open have is that with cotto it's a knock on his chin, and with mayweather it's a compliment!

And in regards to another poster who said that it would be a personal problem to be disgusted by arrogant people. I fit the bill. Sorry, arrogance is not a trait to be admired, confidence is. And you could replace arrogant with floyd, and confidence with cotto for that statement.

Just because I carry and old lady's groceries once in a while, behind the scenes, doesn't mean I should receive amnesty in the court of public opinion when everytime someone gives me a microphone I say either A) I'm Money B) I'm the greatest or C) no one deserves to fight me. And at the end of the day, who CARES who floyd is fighting when it's not one of the best? No one wanted to see him fight de la hoya the first time. Saying we watched is the equivalent of saying that we watched the sorry Ravens and the Patriots on monday night football. We didn't watch because we expected a good game, we watched simply for the possibility of an upset, even though there were 14 teams I'd rather see them play. While it's a different animal, I hope you get my point. People will watch this one too, again with the hopes that whatever the outcome, floyd is forced to fight someone, somewhere, sometime, that we actually want to see.

As a boxing fan and a fan of World Championship Boxing, I always eagerly await the monthly events. De La Hoya-Forbes last night proved a few things that I already concluded to. 1 Oscar is going to lose to PBF in the rematch, 2 even when he loses he comes up roses, & 3 Jim Lampley will always react like a giddy school girl whenever Oscar fights & defend him to the end. Why you ask? Well here goes 1. Oscar could not knockout a fighter who was 20 LBS over his natural weight, or keep him intimidated throughout the fight, I mean Forbes was losing all these rounds but he was still showboating? that meant that Oscar was'nt hurting him, so PBF will make Oscar look bad. 2 Now even though this occurs the broadcast team will always make statements to the contrary. And 3 No matter what is being done to Oscar Jim Lampley seems to miss it last night when Forbes was at times on the offense Lampley never cathed it or if he did just ignored it. Lampley must be on Golden Boys payroll. So like I mentioned yesterday the fight was a joke. Cotto-Margarito, Zab-Shane, even Quintana-Williams II are the fights that matter this year in the Welterweight division, & by the way thank god BHop stayed out of the background.

Lil Floyd 4 contribute millions toward education, battered women and children, and boxing foundations. Do those things disgust you as well, or is it his arrogance? If it's his arrogance, then the question has to be asked, do every arrogant person disgust you? Because that sounds like a personal problem.

Since when was Mayweather's chin questionable. He's never been put on his ass, Heart is showed in the ring as well as in the Gym, and how many times have you seen Mayweather tired in the ring? How many times has he fought with damaged hands? If Roy Jones did not have any heart, would he still be fighting? The only TRUE statement you made was Mayweather has fought Inferior talent, Why? Because he's the best fighter in the World, and one of the greatest of all-time.

The human race or to Blacks, specifically? lol He is what he is, I wouldn't look at him to be a representation of you, I or anyone else...he's a money-hungry dude in a money-crazed land, and he is seemingly doing anything (publicity-wise) to get attention/dollars. I can see one perspective that views him as a buffoon, but folks who view him as a black stereotype are likely folks who were biased to begin with, especially because there are tons of so-called non-embarrassments in the sport. But I digress...as expected, boring, solid win for Oscar. I laughed when I heard him say that this is the same plan he'll use against Mayweather...I'd answer that with a phrase by the great ring broadcaster George Foreman (I say this grinning, but it's one of his truest statements): "Everyone has a plan until they get hit."
