I can say that in Abraham vs Miranda's first fight I cringed everytime Abraham got hit after the broken jaw occurred in the 4th round. I couldn't believe the guts, determination, and warrior mentality that Abraham showed by continuing for the last 8 rounds to win that fight with such a disfiguring injury. Miranda even went on to purposely headbutt Abraham on the jaw later in the fight, but Abraham never stopped fighting. His mouth was open for 8 rounds against a heavy puncher, what a warrior. It was unbelieveable!!!

Her name was Dr. Margaret Goodman. I remembered watching the fight. Corrales was bleeding profusely by the mouth. He was begging Dr. Goodman for one more rd. Corrales momentum had shifted. He had Casamayor backing up. Dr. Goodman opted to stop the fight. Corrales (RIP) was furious. I thought the same. Dr. Goodman should have given him, one more rd. I can also understand her reasoning for stopping the fight.

Hopkins-Allen I. Hopkins and Allen were being seperated by referee Mills Lane when Hopkins was pushed (lightly) by Lane through the ropes and onto the floor below. Hopkins sustained an ankle injury to the point he could not continue. The fight was ruled no-contest and they rescheduled for six months later.:O

That was one nasty cut on Barrio's lip. It appears that it might have to be stiched up. I remembered watching Casamayor/Corrales I, where the fight had to be stopped due to a similar case. Corrales (RIP) was bleeding profusely from a cut, inside his mouth. Perhaps it has to do with the design of the mouthpiece itself, or the way it fits, that contributes to such injuries. It's a dangerous situation, when the blood keeps pouring. Scenario, let's just say, that a fighter has just been KO and remains unconscious, unable to protect his airway. He's bleeding profusely from his mouth. A real life and death situation. It could happen; especially if it goes unnoticed. There ought to be an investigation, to r/o if certain mouthpieces are dangerous or need to be banned.

Poll
Who wants to see Oscar and Manny?
Does anyone really want to see Delahoya bully another small guy? I guess his farewell tour is going to be low risk. Steve Forbes, Manny Pacquia, who's next? This fight is bad for boxing.
