Hey anyone see the Overtime segment of Joe Buck Live? HBO looks like they aren't going to archive it like they did with the Artie Lang segment. This can only lead me to believe something embarrassing happened. Did anyone see it and can tell me about it? I thought Floyd's studio segment was pretty boring and weak as far as boxing talk went. What happened on overtime? The only thing I could find was a quote from it that FMJ said Mosely is an HBO fighter, I'm an HBO PPV fighter. Why are they doing overtime if they aren't letting people see it?

just read an article on espn.com about the klitschko-johnson fight. and i dont really like this kids mind set. he called the brothers "mistakes" which is fuckin stupid then said he wants to be like "Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson. When these guys were champs, they were icons in this great nation." ok first off wheres jack dempsey and rocky marciano in that list and two jack johnson wasnt an icon back then, he was hated and larry holmes was never beloved or really recognized for his great talent people were still too high on ali. we all know this kid is gonna get wupped on saturday, but now im kinda hopin for it hahah that may be a little much but fuck it, its gonna be a good night of fights

Damn, Gatorade dropped Tiger Woods. I guess the pitch phrase, "Its in you", took on a whole new meaning over the last week or so.

Pacman-Floyd not in Vegas? The proposed March 13 Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather superfight could end up in an NFL football stadium instead of Las Vegas, the normal home of megafights. The new Dallas Cowboys Stadium, the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans and the Georgia Dome in Atlanta are in the running. It has been agreed that the fight will be for Pacman?s WBO welterweight title and both fighters will wear 8-ounce gloves from the manufacturer of their choice. 8-ounce gloves?!??! Mayweather must be super confident if he agreed to that. Isn't glove size one of Floyd's biggest gripes. I bet he traded that for a huge ring or the referee.

The rap against MP is usually that he has losses on his record. The reality is that he doesn't have an amateur background like FMJ. Question: Does FMJ have any amateur losses? Find the answer and get back with me. MP has learned "the ropes" about boxing in the professional ranks since the age of 16. His ability to adapt and learn is the phenomenon of MP. His phenomenal trainer's ability to recognize major habits of MP's opponents produces the remarkable result(s) we are familiar with seeing as the conclusion of an MP fight. To FMJ's credit, I believe he is a defensive fighting genius. And I believe that the defensive fighter that does not take risks is normally faster than his opponents. When relying too much on the defensive aspect of fighting, it is more difficult to set down on your punches. But when FMJ does set down (he's no Manny Pacquiao) he does possess some "pop". I'm sticking with MP for the win. And I believe that it will be by KO. The most important combination in MP's arsenal will be the "Roach-Pacquiao Consortium", a physical and mental game that FMJ will find both bewildering and unbeatable.

haha yeah it was a hell of a fight. for the first few rounds i looked like a genius then williams started comin back haha, i believe martinez won the fight but whatever it was hella entertaining. i'd love to see a rematch but williams people only wanna talk about mosley and hopkins. but mosley is busy and im sure hopkins will still want to move up even after jones knockout loss so he's gotta fight martinez again. great show, and i gotta tip my hat to brian minto for showin alotta heart

No doubt, the Martinez/Williams bout was competitive and fought at a high skill level. Two KDs in the first rd. gave way to an exciting fight, that could have gone either way. Too bad that one fighter had to lose. One judge screw it up, another had it a draw and one had it 115-113. In my book, it should have been declared a draw. I was surprised by Martinez's right hook. It was landing with such frequency, that he just couldn't miss. Williams showed a lot of heart, he could have gotten discouraged but instead kept chipping away at Martinez and outworked him in the championship rds. Styles make fights. Martinez's style gave Williams all that he could handle. It was an excellent fight, rightly deserves a rematch, both fighters next time around, ought to get nicely compensated.

Williams VS Martinez was the best most competitive fight of the year. This fight could've gone either way-I wish it ended in a draw but the only robbery was with the 1 judge not the decision.

haha eric raskin just stated in his article martinez can win, the same reasons i did that sergio would win. we'll see tonight, hopefully i dont look like an ass and paul knocks out sergio haha. speakin of raskin he had a hell of a good idea in trading jermain taylor for bute in the super six. i mean the big reason he wasnt in it was because of his scheduled fight with andrade, now thats over (spectacular finish) and jermain should pull out like the rumors say he might. why not put in one of the top possibly the top super middleweight in the tourny then the winner of the whole thing can really really say he is the best in the division

Here we go with the bullshit, Mayweather the runner has already agreed to fight March 13 a date that was giving to him by Pacquaio's promoter and blind Pac fans act like Mayweather pulled the date out his ass or something. Isn't it funny how Floyd is so scared yet he signed 1st-Freddie and all Pacmans people said 50/50 or the fight doesn't happen now Pac wants 60/40. Coach Roach is talking about the fight is 2 soon and Manny has 2 heal from the scars he sustained from the Cotto bout. Bob Arum Pacquaio's promoter came up with March 13 so get mad @ Pacquaio's promoter-so Freddie says his man wont be ready-Pac has agreed to fight March 13-I mean do these guys talk @ all? 1st Pac is cool with 50/50 now he wants 60/40-it seems like he's tryn 2 find away out of the fight. The Pacman and Coach Roach are the only one's making excuse's and holding up the fight.
