I've been thinking about this for a few, does anyone know if they were scheduled to do so before and it didn't work out or what? I think it would be cool to see a guy 7'2 fight either one of them. The other possible reason that came to mind as to why they haven't fought could be that they're waiting for another crack at Haye if he wins and doesn't wimp out again. I'd like to know what you guys think.

*** Either one of the Klitschko bros. can probably K/O that big foot ape Valuev. Valuev is much too slow & not in the same league as the Klitschko's in boxing; it however would be interesting for 3rds. ***

I recognize Pac as the P4P King, but I still view Mayweather as the best fighter in the world until proven otherwise. I recognize Wladimir as the heavyweight champ, but I voew Vitali as the division's best. I hope like hell we could get Mayweather-Pacquaio and Vitali-Wladimir in 2010 to clear both situations up once and for all. But, I think its a better chance of neither happening than both.

To me no ... retirement and the associated inactivity is grounds for going off the list ... and the claim to the top spot is not guaranteed ... same reason Floyd is my P4P #2 ... not because he is below Manny but because he has not earned it in full yet ... and Wlad's run since he took a belt back has been no less impressive, although his win over Ibragimov was maddening (not because he was bad, but because he coasted ... )

I say if the dude's got a belt and they have the dream of being world champs, I say they should have all the titles between them. People are already critical as to the state of the HW division, why not just put all to rest and have the best hold the titles. That to me is the best thing that could happen with the current situation. People who are undeserving shouldn't be champion, paper title or not. To some people these belts hold some meaning.

He's come back, and picked up right where he left off. Doesn't he have somewhat of a lineal claim to the title?

I think Haye deserves a beating not that he's earned the shot but to make t-shirts depicting them decapitated and him holding their heads. I think that's grounds for a fight. I'd love to see them destroy him.

well Wlad is the unified champ for what its worth, though you can argue (heck I do) his brother is better. Well Valuev went off the grid for a bit after losing to Chagaev, and honestly, I am not sure how much interest there is in seeing a guy who looks like Tarzan but punches like Jane. Wlad and Vitali have beaten credible opponent after credible opponent, so it's not like they are running from challenges. I suspect the Chewbacca-Haye winner will get himself a shot in the summer.

Valuev is a chump. He's not gonna beat Haye. As much as I'd like to see one of the Klits bust that big head up I really dont think he's earned a shot.

I agree, Vitali to me is the better of the two brothers, toughest and I respect him more. I want to see how he does come December. It's crazy to see a HW boxer with a belt fight only a few months after his last fight especially in these times. It's definitely a rarity.

I've heard where they've tried to set that up before, but it never came off. If Valuev wins this weekend, which I don't think he will, I would love to see him fight Vitali, the real heavyweight champion, early next year.
