If Pacquiao happens to lose to Cotto

Do you think a Pacquiao loss will hurt boxing? I was just thinking that it would probably be a negative in the sport. If you look at how much attention his fight against De La Hoya and Hatton brought and how Pacquiao is looked at as the P4P best right now. A loss to Cotto might derail the momentum created in the sport. I could be wrong but I'd like to know what the board thinks.

Cotto got the shit kicked out of him not that long ago. Mannys last loss was several years ago and he redeemed that loss twice. Cotto has looked a little jittery since his beatdown.

Agree. However, the haters will never shut up. I would love to see Floyd fight Cotto (I know Cotto is humble enough to EVEN let Floyd take the bigger share of the pie), however, will Floyd agree to fight Cotto?
Floyd can and will beat Cotto if they fight but I somehow sense that PBF will come up with a reason not to fight Cotto (is that an oxy-moron?)

man listen, pac is good and a fight with floyd would do great ppv and at the box office sales, but the truth is that he has not bin hit since the marquez fight not diaz, oscar or ricky put there hands on pac, not cause he's great , cause they were shitty,  when marquez landed pac was moved, again i repeat pac is good, but not good enough to beat a true welter weight and a damn good one like cotto let alone a great one like floyd so stop it please.:O so dont be suprised when pac on the floor looking up.

Man, Time warner cable was giving the fight for free! As far as the haters as you call them...I don't like him and I didn't pay for it either! So you're accusations are false my man. Only ones that support that big mouth are people like you and hitquenn. Please dog, don't insult everyone else on here!!!!

Joke has been blowing smoke up everyone's ass every since it was obvious that Mayweather was coming back and he was on a collision course with Pac. He knows he's put Pac in a no win situation. He has a guy in Money that he can't bully in negotiations, has no legitimate excuse why the fight shouldn't happen, and most importantly, one he knows Pac can't beat. All Joke's bullsh*t has backed him into a corner and he's looking for an out. It hate the be the bearer if bad news, but there isn't one.

Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach is getting on my nerves. Two weeks ago, he was saying that this would be the toughest fight of Pac's career and he's hoping to win a decision. Then last week, he was talking about Pac was looking great and he thought he was gonna KO Cotto. Now, he's talking about Pac's training isn't going well because he's playing basketball in the evenings. Why doesn't this little funny looking some-b*tch make up his mind?

Personally, I think Joke is full of sh*t. During Mayweather's training he claimed he was getting reports that Money was looking bad in training. I honestly think what happen was that when it was looking like Mayweather-Marquez was gonna be a flop, he was confident in Pacquaio-Cotto outdoing it, and said what was real. And that's Pac's gonna starch Cotto's ass. But when those PPV numbers came in, he's getting a little nervous because he knows its gonna be tough for Pacquaio-Cotto to outdo it, and now he's trying to make Pac look vunurable. Whatever the case may be, I wish Joke would do us all a favor and STFU and the whatever is gonna happen happen.

Yea but Pacquaio is much improved from that fight... but hey you never know... Cotto beat Mosely by decision... in my eyes somebody is getting stopped & thats Cottos best chance to win if he catches pacquiao. i really dont think Pacquiao can take cottos shots.

I dont think Cotto can win on points either. But if he can slow Manny down the way he slowed down Judah he can get a late tko maybe.

Cotto is good for Boxing. He's an accomplish fighter and has a large fan base. He brings excitement and vulnerability.

This fight has FOTY all over it. Most ppl. don't give Cotto a chance but it's not so. It's a 50-50. Unlike some ppl., I'm not gauging Pacquiao's best performances against DLH and Hatton. First of all, DLH was dehydrated and Hatton was overrated. Hatton can't take a punch. To this date, Cotto will be Pacquiao's biggest challenge. He's going up against a fighter, who is a boxer/puncher and can hurt you to the body. A fighter who took Mosley's best shots and was able to out boxed him. A fighter, who knows how to neutralize speed. Nobody can prepare Pacquiao for what's coming. How can Pacquiao deal with Cotto's power? Cotto wins by SD.

Do you think Pacquiao is on steroids?
Watching Pacquiao carry his power to the higher weight classes has me wondering is he is juicing. Being a personal trainer I know that it is very difficult to move up in weight and stay ripped. The Phillipines and Indosia are two of the biggest markets for steroids.
