Do you think a Pacquiao loss will hurt boxing? I was just thinking that it would probably be a negative in the sport. If you look at how much attention his fight against De La Hoya and Hatton brought and how Pacquiao is looked at as the P4P best right now. A loss to Cotto might derail the momentum created in the sport. I could be wrong but I'd like to know what the board thinks.

If my boy Cotto loses,he loses, what can I do? Manny is the consensus P4P king! No shame in losing,as long as you try,and Manny is another fearless fighter who definately has earned my respect. I just feel that Cotto wants this fight more and can handle speed better than Manny can handle the body shots!

I would love to see your post.

Personally I would rather see Cotto vs. Mayweather but in a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight,I would pick Money to stop Pac around the 9th round...... They're both fast but Money is fast in defense and offense(the little bit he puts out).--Mayweather doesnt get hit! we know this, now throw in the fact that Manny would try to be all on top of him, giving Mayweather the openings and angles to do his thing, stoping Pacquiao in the 9th round!

I feel Pac has a chance, but only in the first 3-4 rounds. Mayweather has been hit and hurt by southpaws Judah and Chop Chop with straight left hands. But, if Pac doesn't get Money outta there within about 4, he's done. Once Mayweather adjust to the speed, and starts timing Pac and getting that straight right hand going, its pretty much over. I think Mayweather would stop Pac around the 9th or 10th.

Also Floyd beat Hatton at a weight where he had always sucked and it took him 10 rounds to do it. Manny fought him at a weight where he had never been beaten and did it in 2 rounds.

Mayweather beats Pac as easily as Pac beats Cotto tomorrow. Difference is, Pac puts Cotto outta his missery. Mayweather gives Pac an ass thrashing for about 8 or 9 rounds.

No need to argue... they are similiar and i happen to think mayweather is better.. and trust me i dont like maywaether. just look at the facts... freddie roach said pacquiao didnt lose a round to oscar and hatton... TRUE.. but floyd stopped hatton first and beat oscar at his natural weight.... and marquez had 2close fights with pacquiao, which alot of people thought marquez WON both... and mayweather didnt lose a round to him. just look at the skills bro... not the speed the skills. i think mayweather beats pacquiao easy.

god i cant wait for this fight on saturday! im gonna be partying in reno so ill miss the pay per view but damn its gonna be good. one thing i dont like about this fight. its a contracted catchweight fight of 145 and yet cottos title is still at steak hes a welterweight champion and yet he cant fight as a full welterweight. dont get me wrong i dont put much stock in the belts like any smart fan but everyones making such a big deal out of mannys chance to make history with a belt in a seventh division, well hes not really in the welterweight division if its not a 147 limit. but i guess iits not that big a deal. another thing whats with all these fuckin reporters sayin "wheres all the trash talk?" when talkin to either miguel or manny. trash talk is not important we dont need it what we got is great two humble respectable men with great skill and power and chins that arent exactly known for strength that equals alot of action
