Gave great insight to the minds of the boxers (what drives them). Their lives outside of the ring shows them as being multi-dimensional. I've actually gained greater respect for Arreola after watching his clips. He has a lot weighing on his shoulders with the possible title for both Mexicans AND Americans, which I never really considered. -- *Chanting* There's only one Ricky Hatton, one Ricky Hatton! Walking along, singing a song, walking in a Hatton wonderland! wink...

Excellent! This will become the new standard for promoting up and coming fighters. HBO needs to give more exposure to this new web-series. The boxing public has been waiting for just such a feature. Hopefully, HBO won't allow it to die on the vine due to lack of public awareness. Great stuff!

I greatly enjoy getting insight into the lives of upcoming boxers like the three that have been showcased thusfar: Dmitriy Salita, Cristobal Arreola and Edvan Barros. It's in a way a poor man's 24/7; a day in the life of the relatively unknown and chronicling their quest to rise in the ranks. It's very gritty, and a good way to introduce boxing prospects to the world and create an emotional link between boxer and fan. Perhaps the newest, biggest star in boxing will rise from this video production? Very well done and conceived HBO!

I love the great concept to shine light on the every day life and struggles of a boxer, but I would have like to see more on fighters who are or was champion and is struggling to make ends meat. It's crazy how most people are more interested in negative struggles rather than positive ones. I'm not judging, I'm guilty of it also!!!

HBO, you guys are providing boxing fans with an awesome treat with this new series Ring Life. The short videos are like short stories that really capture the life of boxing, not just the boxer. I think most of us see life as a journey or a race, but boxing fans might agree that life is more like a fight than the anything else. Being able to see the lives of fighters who aspire to become great champions is inspiring to watch. And 24/7 is an awesome show, but Ring Life is on another level because it introduces the fans to the champs before they actually make boxing history. Great work.
