At the Wright-Williams weigh-in Sugar Shane said he wants to fight the winner of Pacquiao-Hatton. What do you think? Who should Mosley fight next?

I'm with you on that. Berto's gonna beat Mosley. IMO, this fight is just like Taylor-Hopkins. No one though JT was ready for X, who I believe was the #1 rated P4P fighter in the world coming into that first fight. Youth won out then, and youth will win out in Jan.

Berto's not a stationary target like Margarito. Richardson is a pretty good trainer but Mosely look the way he always looked to me. He pawed with the left and you knew the looping right was coming. Mosely is a good fighter, that's what he is a fast banger, but beating Margarito was blown out of the water. Berto is young, quick and strong-with the 1st 2 being completely opposite of Margi. Mosely is an older fighter-he was already HOF type prior to Richardson and would've defeated Margi regardless of who trained him. Mosely is older an experiencing hot & cold flashes. Mosely doesn't want to fight guys like Berto-this just like Oscar looking like a million bucks beating Mayarga then thinking he was ready for a fighter like Floyd. Mosely defeats Marg-a fighter thats beggn to be hit-now yall think he's ready for a young hungry lion like Berto. I was on of the few that were critical of Berto but now I'm sayn this is his coming out party. This will be Ray Leonard vs Terry Norris all over again. Berto is to quick for Mosely-Mosely hits behind the head also-but Berto is to quick with his hands and feet for Mosely @ this stage of his career and will knock Mosely out of the super fight sweep stakes-mark my words.

I used to think Berto's power was more explosive, but that seemingly changed once his comp level increased and I noticed that his feet are often not firmly planted when letting the leather go. Don't sleep on him though. -- Edited by jarule2007 at 11/12/2009 8:21 PM PST

Mosley sits down on his punches way better. Look how he put the hurt on Margarito. And he busted up Vargas pretty good too. Since Berto is a smaller guy I dont think he'll take Mosley's punches as well.

Berto's not a big fan of going backwards which is the right kind of game for Mosley. I'm picking a late stoppage but would not be surprised it Berto went down in 5-6 rds either.

I think the ref in this fight will be key. Both men have done their share of holding, i.e. Berto of late. If Berto uses his younger legs, it'll be interesting to see how Mosley does. Mosley even had problems when Cotto got on his bicycle, and Cotto ain't no (late) Michael Jax with the feet. Should be an interesting fight; I'm leaning towards Mosley. http://www.fightinsight.com/2009/11/11/dawson-and-pavlik-are-accomplished-yet-unproven/

Fight took a long time to materialize, mostly for stuff happening between Berto and HBO. But it's here. Mosley has been on the sideline for nearly a year - man's gotta fight. And it's not like anybody would be ready for a January date. But moreover, good fight to start the 2010 calendar.

A press conference to announce Mosley-Berto is supposed to take place next Saturday prior to the Pacquaio-Cotto superfight. Wonder is Arum, Joke, or any of the HBO Forum squirrels are gonna say Mosley ducked a potential superfight with the winner by announcing his fight on the same day. I mean, all he has to do is wait one more day to see who the winner is right. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=4632678&name=rafael_dan

I think his ex-wife and manager took a huge chunk of what he had and he's looking to cash out big time. How else do you explain how a man who for all his career has been exemplary in and out of the ring. Great respect for everyone including himself (despite his steroid scandal)? He is making himself look like a fool by his constant attacks on Floyd and Berto. Mosley teaming up with Oscar and B-Hop has been a bad move for him as a person (but maybe not professionally). He has turned into a hypocrite like those two idiots. He accuses Floyd of ducking him and then demands 80% of money against Berto. I hope Bert beats him (but you know Golden Boy will see that Berto is robbed a la Diaz-Malignaggi). Margarito's "win" against Cotto should be overturned and so should Mosley's win against Oscar. These two guys have no credibility left in them no matter what anyone says -- we know they've done it many times.

*** I would love to see Sugar Shane fight England's Ricky Hatton and maybe 1-more fight after that, then retire before he ends up going down hill or gets hurt. He's been a great exciting fighter to watch & good sportsman & should go out on his terms while he still has his wits about him, so to speak. ***

Mosley says he handing out "ass whippins" in 2010. Berto says that he's done research on steroid use and that's the reason Mosley seems to have gotten o tough overnight, and vows to retire the Sugerman on Jan 30. BTW, when did Mosley start using profanity? I hope he isn't back on the juice. http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=23281
