Shane Mosley -- Who Should He Fight Next?

At the Wright-Williams weigh-in Sugar Shane said he wants to fight the winner of Pacquiao-Hatton. What do you think? Who should Mosley fight next?

I think Shane is gonna whip Berto's ass! And if Shane does lose it will be by a paper-thin robbery!! Berto is all hype. He needs to prove himself against some better opposition. He never beat anybody of real note and the only win that really mattered was over Collazo and I had Collazo winning that fight. Berto should fight someone like Quintana, Cintron, Mora, anybody else. I really don't want to waste my time watching Mosley whip this guy. The Clottey/Mosley fight would have been a much better fight.

I was lookn 4ward 2 the Clottey fight also-but the Berto fight should be a good 1 and I think he'll lose that fight also. I think Mosely had his momment and that was back in Jan this year. B-Hop has the style 2 wait a lil bit and come back-but Mosely should've known better-he knew he wasn't gettn Pac anytime soon. I would love 4 Floyd to give him a chance though-but we're gonna see what Berto is really about now

I was really looking foward to him fighting Clottey, but that one appears to have fallen through. I read on boxingscene recently that it looks as if Mosley is gonna fight Berto next. I really like this fight. And I may be going out on a limb, but I think Berto's gonna beat Mosley. This fight really reminds me of Taylor-Hopkins. Mosley may be a better fighter than Berto. But Berto has the speed, skillset, and youth and I think he goves Mosley all he can handle. I think Berto is gonna win that fight by a razor-think decision.

Hitking, who do you think would be a formidable opponent for Mosley at this moment ? We all know Shane is trying to cash in, he made that very obvious when he said he would be willing to fight Pac at 143.

So my question is, who do you think would be a big name opponent for him to fight right now ? Besides Mayweather and Pacquiao.

mannmann, I perfectly understand Mosley at this point in his career only wanting the big money fights. My issue is that he's been doing a lot of talking since his win over Margarito about being ducked. He said Mayweather should be "ashamed" of himself for fighting a little guy like Marquez. Yet, hespent several recent months basically stalking Pac, who is smaller than Marquez. Then he sayd Mayweather is ducking the best welterweights. Yet, when he beat Margarito, he and Paul Williams were the best two welterweights in the world. And he made no secret that he wanted no part of P-Dub. I've always liked Mosley as a fighter, and I still do. But he's starting to come off as a bit of a hypocrite.

I meant 2 say there's nothn there 4 Shane 2 even consider fightn Paul. You have 2 different fighters in the 2-one is lookn 4 his career high payday and a good solid place in history-all Williams is tryn to do is get his feet wet-get in the door-thats it-he's lookn 4 a chance and he has alot of fight left in him.

Shane on the other hand is ready to punch out-but he wants and deserve a damn good payday-he shouldn't have to keep fightn the Clottey's-Quintana's-Collazo's-Berto's-Williams or even the Cintrons-Shane is way past fightn guys like them. He's suppose to be in big events and he can't make a big event with any of those guys.

It's a shame there's no 1 4 Shane 2 fight but maybe Berto-I feel bad 4 him-but I think he should go head and just fight-rack up those millions and stop waitn Shane.

honestly, I don't think Paul Williams is all that, I mean I dig him as a fighter but he's not all that. Why does Shane always have to take the hardest road to the top. No 1 is afraid of Paul Williams-he isn't a draw whatso ever-not even close to it.

Shane Mosely is tryn 2 fight the best that brings the biggest purse-Paul isn't the best and he doesn't bring jack to the table-he's not exactly where Allan Green is but there's just nothn there to satisfy him with Green. I hate even bringing his name up in the WW division. Kelly's going to knock him out.

Allan Green was calln him out but Williams didn't want no parts of him. My thing is he's the calln himself the most avoided fighter-then he was talkn bout fightn a retired Calzaghe @ 175-but Green was like why are you calln out him 4-he's retired-instead of going all the way 2 175 to fight him-meet me @ 168.

Green was calln him out like crazy and he never responded. Dude is a big guy so I just understand why fans keep talkn bout him fighting Floyd or Mosely. Why are we even talkn bout Williams vs anyone else when there's a damn good match up between him and Kelly-yall talk to much about dream fights.

Actually, Shane Mosley have more class in his little finger, than Floyd Mayweather have in his entire body... :O

I no one was afraid to fight Williams, we'd be watching Mosley-Williams on Dec 5 instead of Pavlik-Williams.

Look guys-none of the fighters @ 147 gives a damn about Paul Williams-they don't care unless the money is worth it. These guys want the best fights, but they also want the payday 2 go along with it. Paul needs to stay where he is-no 1 wants 2 fight him cause he's high risk low reward-I don't blaime Shane and the other guys 4 wanting big paydays. None of these guys are afraid to fight Paul-Quintan's already proved he can be outboxed but he tried 2 go toe 2 toe in the rematch & got caught. I didn't like what Shane did, but I can feel his frustration-he was never a big draw-he should just take the Berto fight-the sad thing is-I think he's going to lose his next fight.

The one fight I thought would be best for Mosley, that he can't have at this point is the rematch with Cotto. That fight to me is the only one that matters and has significance. The reasons for this are that their fight was pretty close and Mosley lost. Cotto lost to Margarito and
Mosley beat him and now Mosley has the belt. I like that fight the most of all the options out there. The one big hurdle is the Pacquiao Cotto fight and no one else wants to face Mosley. If Paul Williams wasn't fight Pavlik, I'd say a Williams Mosley fight would have been worth watching too considering that it seems like neither one of these guys could get a fight, so why not fight each other.

In retrospect, I have never seen FLoyd go into the ring during another fighter's post fight interview and act like an idiot. I have been a big Mosley fan, but that shit was uncalled for. He just wants a big payday before he rides off into the sunset...He should not have done what he did.

You always flip flop Hitquenn! First, Mosely was scared of Mayweather....Now, he's acting retarded for calling him out!!! Man, you're a hater dog...BIG TIME!!! You have no credibility anymore. You are truly Mayweather himself. I TRULY believe that now.Isn't shit talking Mayweather's theme? Then you would say he acts RETARDED all the time...RIGHT?

With as cut throat as de la Hoya is. I'm pretty sure after Mosley loses to Berto, he'll make him buy a ticket to Mayweather-Pacquaio.

I'm sure Mosley will be at Mayweather-Pacquiao, should it happen before Mosley can get either of those men in the ring with him first, waiting like a lap dog for his owner to take a seat. ;)

Do you think Pacquiao is on steroids?
Watching Pacquiao carry his power to the higher weight classes has me wondering is he is juicing. Being a personal trainer I know that it is very difficult to move up in weight and stay ripped. The Phillipines and Indosia are two of the biggest markets for steroids.
