Over the last few days I've been reading a few things here and there about Arreola and his new training. The question I have is, considering how much he's weighed in fights in the past could it be possible that he might come in too light for Klitschko? Vitali hits hard and I think Arreola needs speed to avoid him but I gotta wonder if he'll take punches the same way if he's much lighter than his past fights where he was rocked but pulled out the dramatic KO victory. What are your thoughts?

i was very impressed with Vitali. he used his jab to keep Chris at bay and stepped to the side when he had to. He landed his right at will. Vitali has very good defense were Chris had trouble landing his punches. I think he is better and more exciting to watch then his younger brother. To bad this is not a lot of exciting match ups in the HW division. Was jim lampley criticizing Chris at the end of the fight? right before the signing off lampley went on a rant saying anyone who takes 10 days off from training to drink and party will not have a chance against a klitschko. i thought it was cold and inappropriate.

I give big props to Arreola, he won my respect and no one can ever question his heart, courage and chin. He took some monstrous shots from Vitali and he never seemed wobbled nor he ever got knocked down. Arreola fought the way he was supposed to, any other gameplan would've gotten him knocked out earlier. He needed to try and rough up Vitali, but Vitali was just on a whole nother level. I was really impressed with Vitali's punch variety and the way he would hold when he had to and "run" when he had to. It was a good onesided fight.

I felt bad for Arreola because he obviously wanted it and fought his hardest. But Vitali used his hight and reach and fought a smart fight. Yes he fought backing away for most of the fight because thats what he had to do to maximize his strengths. He kept distance against a very determined Arreola who constantly tried to charge in. He constantly landed punches throughout every round. Arreola looked very battered and frustrated by round 10 and I think the stoppage was the right call. I'm a big fan of both Klitschko brothers. I think they conduct themselves as real professionals and it is obviously that they have alot of respect for the sport. I think Arreola is a strong warrior though and I agree with Vitali Klitschko when he said after the fight that Arreola will one day be champ.

It's going to take someone with quick feet, a strong chin and a big punch to beat Vitali K. Unfortunately, I can't think of anyone today who fits the bill.

Klitschko fought another smart and technical fight. Arreola's pressure worked at times but it was not enough.

Uh, these Klitschkos are tough but Vladmirs chin is suspect. I think Lewis and Bowe are the only recent heavweights that would have a chance. Lewis already stopped Vitali and I think Vladmir would have gotten knocked out by Lewis. Lewis at times was boring but technically very sound.

I think both would have beaten Tyson and Holyfield. But I think Bowe had the size and skill to beat both. If he could stay away from the buffet in the 6-8 weeks before the fight.

I think both wouldv'e defeated Bowe Evander and even Tyson @ their best-call me crazy but they are pretty skilled and when you mix tge height advantage in there it's crazy.

I havent watched this guy fight, but seen highlights. He is powerful but wreckless. Vitali is probably gonna knock his head off. This is a very significant increase in level of competion for Chris.....Vitali is tough and powerful. Has better technical skills than Chris. I am anxious to see it.

the dude has breast-he's 251 lbs-he's going 2 get his ass whooped. I was hoping he would do something but if 251 is the best he can do than it's over 4 him. James Toney came in @ 217 in his last fight-if he can do then Arreola can do it. These guys are eating waay 2 much-there's nothing like a good boxing workout-it's the best-I don't see how these guys come in fat after preparing for over a month-it's crazy-he's gettn that ass spanked

I'm happy to see that Arreola put the time in that was necessary to get into better shape, he looks much better than he used to, so I give him credit for coming in at 251.

For this fight to be some what entertaining, and not a Klitchko shutout, hope that Arreola practiced his defensive skills.
