After seeing that fight where he was dominated and knocked out badly, what do you think Hatton should do?

If I recall Corrales came up with Floyd and that young an undeveloped fighter looked unbeatable to me up intill that point. I picked Corrales to wax that ass-unlike a lot so called boxing experts I was a big Corrales fan before he fought Floyd. Corrales was a good proven fighter @ the time so try again. Castillo was also a good fighter that proved himself before the 1st Floyd fight. He had I believe 2 tough fight vs Tim Austin and he took out Julio Diaz was he was considered the shit-so like I said before try again JULIUS CESAR

I hate to call Hatton a "B" grade fighter cause it only makes FM's record look pitiful: especially for a guy that claims he is one of the all time greats. -- I came I saw and I conquered -- Edited by cargilb1 at 06/15/2009 4:34 AM PDT

dude you must be on cloud 9 right now cause you're high-first off J.Diaz can fight his ass off and he has better fundamentals than Ricky-Ricky came in WILD AND RECKLESS and Pac took his car keys from him like a good friend should. No way does Ricky beat Marquez-Marquez is a natural counter puncher and a damn good 1 @ that. Where did you come up with this 1? JMM is waay to good for Ricky to come in charging like a wild bull swinging crazy shots-I mean he was just diving in with punches that I wouldn't expect a pro to throw. Marquez would easily slip that shit and fire off 3 to 4 beauitfull counter's. I think Ricky's armor is damaged-his chin has had it's share of hard shots and he'll get stopped if he face JMM bottomline

Ricky's style would whoop Marquez easily. Just take a look at what Diaz's pressure style did to Marquez. Marquez would not be able to handle the kind of pressure from a big man like Hatton. Lucky for Marquez Diaz didn't have a big punch. After Marquez and Fraud put on a big snooze fest, Hatton can take out Marquez easily. -- Roy "Original Fraud" Jones Jr. Bernard "Lie To Mama and HGH User" Hopkins Cotto: "Fraud's Nightmare" Hatton: Overhyped Journeyman Shame "The Cheater & HGH" Mosely Duran: Hands of Stones Margarito: Hands of Paris Joe "Senior Killer" Calzaghe V and V: The Klitoris Brothers Roy Jones Lite: Great Waste Less Willing

Styles make fights-believe it or not-Hatton took all the fight out of KT. KT fought as good as he could and as good as I can remember-I grew up watching KT knocking guys out and I was in disbelief when he lost his 1st match-cause much like Hatton I didn't give ole boy a chance in hell to beay Kosta-but he did. I thought Kosta would beat the hell out of Ricky cause I wasn't impressed with him-I was like okay he's tough-but so is Kosta plus he hits hard as hell. Just cause Ricky was beat up by PBF and Pac doesn't mean shit-he pressed Kosta all night long-Kosta isn't as loose as PBF & Pac-he's a str8 up fighter that throws stiff punches

Hatton can still beat OK-to-decent fighters, just not really good-to-great ones...I think that's been pretty apparent throughout his career. The Tszyu victory was his shining moment. He had a good, lucrative career. I think a Hatton/Tszyu rematch would've ended differently. Tszyu got bullied a roughed up the whole fight. I think he would've weathered the storm in the second fight. http://fist2face.wordpress.com/2009/04/08/boxing-isnt-supposed-to-be-a-popularity-contest -- If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.
