The reason I ask this question is because since day one with the Pacquiao De La Hoya fight people have been complaining about the big size difference, there's a post on the boards to boycott the fight, the Pavlik Hopkins fight showed what a weight/size difference can do to a great fighter who is smaller, and even on yahoo there's an article about Pacquiao entitled Wake up-call. Do you think Manny can handle this or is it a big mistake?

This issue should be dead!! Pacquio beat Oscar, point blank. His win doesn't make him better than Floyd and at the same time the way Floyd beat Oscar doesn't make him worst. They have different styles of fighting and if you're a true boxing fan then you know that just because fighter A beat fighter B and A lost to C it doesn't mean C can beat B!! Look at Taylor/Hopkins/Pavlik!!! I'm a Mayweather fan but I'm looking at facts and that's it. Who would win between them 2 I don't know. I would root for Floyd but It's hard to say because so much play a factor in the fight. If we take the Floyd that beat Hatto and put him in the ring with Manny then I like his odds. His style of fighting while backing up, using his speed to counter and his defense look pretty good. It's what has kept him the P4P best fighter. I've liked Manny since him and Barerra fought. I never thought he would even be considered to fight Oscar or Mayweather. This would be a great fight and if it were to happen it would more than likely be the fight of the year.

And left hook is not worth a million bucks isn't it? Same as "Straight right" were many people believed Kelly Pavlik could end B-Hop with one right hand punch! And Ruiz to KO Roy... Actually both Oscar, Pavlik, Ruiz could end the fight via KO if they have landed their punches cleanly. That is if they have! Where in, they really cant.. -- Guys were calling Oscar a gay coz he fights a small Pacquiao, Now Guys were Making Excuses for Oscar to uplift someone else's status over Pacman! What a BS! You guys need "head transplant"! ________________ EXCUSES were thrown just to disbelief Manny's greatness! ________________________ Beliefs not only affect judgments and behavior, but can even distort what we see!!!!

Look, I'm not taking anything away from Pacman as he is awesome, ......... but surely even the biggest Pacquiao fan could see that De La Hoya just didn't turn up. He virtually never threw a punch and offered nothing in this fight. Yes, we witnessed a great achievement, ..... Pacquiao had the minerals to step up and challenge (and destroy) the bigger man, ...... but come on, Oscar was d-r-a-i-n-e-d to the extent he was inoperable ................ he just couldn't operate and almost got killed. I'm just calling it how I saw it, and to me, this doesn't shed a great deal of light on how Manny would fair against other 147 lb'ers, or even at 140 .... Is there any more better excuse to take the credits away from Pacquiao? The fact is Manny and Oscar had fought to where Oscar is more comfortable and close or near to his division! COME ON! Manny had only fought at 135 once! And JUMPED at Welterweight to fight at 147! Have even know/heard any fighter who have started at 106 that have won a fight against any or at least unknown boxer at 147? Oscar is not unknown!.... -- Guys were calling Oscar a gay coz he fights a small Pacquiao, Now Guys were Making Excuses for Oscar to uplift Floyd Mayweather's status over Pacman!
