I view Pac's titles at 122, lightweight, and after next Saturday night welterweight similar to the way I view Mayweather's titles at 140 and 154. Any logical boxing fan knows those guys won paper titles in those divisions. But, when you start getting into the winning titles in 5 or 6 divisions, you get a little bit of a pass. Becasue if it were that easy to do what guys like Mayweather and Pac are doing, a lot more fighters in the past and present would accomplish the feat. -- Edited by hitking60 at 11/05/2009 8:17 AM PST

His best chance to get a "career" defining money win is against Pacquiao.

Pacquiao IS the man of boxing right now. He is the P4P king, soon to be the First and Only 7 weight division Champ, the AskMen.com's 24rth Most Influential person on the planet surpassing even Kobe, Lebron, and Tiger Woods, making the the Forbes 100 list. What 7th title in 7th weight class ?? I hope you're not calling Cotto a champ, and you better damn sure better not think the WBO is a legit title. Cotto has always been a paper champ ever since his days at 140. ALL of his title fights have been vacant. This 7th title you're referring to is imaginary, he fought a damn tuneup fighter and won a title ?? Wtf is that ? And most importantly 145 is not 147. If if 2 pounds aint nothing to complain about, then why did Manny not just go up to 147 ?? Case closed Mandingo.

PACQUIAO DON'T NEED FRAUD TO MAKE MONEY! Take a look at his resume when it comes to WORLD WIDE FAME, MONEY, AND INFLUENCE. Fraud can't even make the list! 24th on AskMen list TIMES's number 22ns most influential list Forbe's Highest Pait Athlete List He also has movies, albums, corporate endorsements in the phillipines that makes him tons of money outside of the USA and out of boxing. Meanwhile Fraud is crying why he can't have endorsement deal like Pacquiao. Corporations want MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE to sell their product world wide. Fraud is not on any list. Look like Fraud's ego is crying..lol * -- Edited by themandingo at 11/05/2009 3:52 AM PST -- Edited by themandingo at 11/05/2009 3:53 AM PST

After all, there are other formidable fighters who are willing to fight, such as Mosley, Margarito, or the undefeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr....

ofcourse it will... big egos are there to hide big empty spots and are not that hard to hurt. even bob arum pretty much said it, if floyd wants to fight one of my guys hes got my number. in other words bobs not gonna chase him either. these guys know that there are options beyond floyd, now floyd need to know it too, and come november 14th he will know it. ouch!!! thats gonna hurt him real bad, when paquiao calls out mosely for example... LOL, It's funny when I see people get caught up in other peoples marketing Schemes and view it as their real feelings. Arum and Floyd don't like each other, so you think he's going to say anything other than what he's saying?? Of Course there are options beyond Floyd, Hell, there's options beyond them obviously, since he put up a million with Marquez. Like I said, you think this will hurt is ego?? HAHA You're silly. You've underestimated the strength of this mans ego. If Pac fights Mosley, he does maybe half the amount of money he does with Floyd. I think they help each other with a fight, but they both can go in other directions. WWW.GLOVE2FACE.COM -- Edited by Pharris000 at 11/04/2009 10:52 PM PST

Have you all notice nthat all the talk about floyd that comes from both the cotto and paquiao is negative. what a i mean not bad negative, but negative in the sense, that they arent looking to fight him but almost dismising that fight as a i dont really care if floyd wants to fight me or not tone about it. in other words both paquiao and cotto arent going to fall into floyds ego bullshit trap about chasing him for a fight. after the 14th the winner of that fight will be calling the shots, and itll be floyd who will have to look for him. i like both their attitude towards floyd, neither one of them is rally given a floyd fight much importance. and that will be a big hit to floyds ego. They are supposed to act like that, Hell they are acting like that about each other! They are both acting like the fight they have with each other is another day in the office. That's the way the top fighters act, it's almost a must. If you act excited or concerned with the person you're fighting, you've basically gave away an edge. Ali and Tyson had that effect on people. If you think that'll hurt Floyd's ego, you're crazy!!!!!!!

After November 14, I'll stay completely out of this boxing forum for an entire week, in sympathy with my Filipino friends mourning the loss of Pacman, their boxing hero, in the hands of the Puerto Rican champion, Miguel Cotto...

i remember posting the 6 million dollar offer that was turned down by floyd to fight margarito, nobody beleived it.. then few months after my post the famous 8 million dollar turn down came about...dam he turned that down too... now 6 million turn down wasnt hard to beleived to all these floyd fans... ofcfourse the LINEAL,,,champ came over and well went back to lineal obscurity, where he belongs.

using that lineal bull shit to discribe an unknown never was who got a shot a a tiltle in a fight he won by disqualification, to a guy who was beatting the shit out of him.....bla bla bla... = floyd was afraid to fight margarito, always has bin. floyd turned down 6 million back when he first jumped to the welters, then turned down 8 in order to fight the LINEAL guy, baldo whats his face... i dont even think the floyd fans can keep a straight face with that lineal bullshit.... acctually dax baldo had 14 losses on his record....

No one should fault Floyd for fighting Baldo...he had the crown at the time. But, no one should make a huge deal out of Floyd beating Baldo either, as he isnt/wasnt very good. I agree. Floyd, Jr. went straight to the guy at the top. That's a good business move. But I'd say it wasn't a good show. Absolutely not a great nor impressive win. The way he boxed that night, forgettable and total disappointment for the boxing fans.

> lol.. ok Baldomir also had 12 loses. > > you forgot that point huh? NOPE, Baldomir was undefeated when he fought Fraud. Fraud is way better than Archie Moore who had 135 KOs. Fraud is also undefeated just like that 49-0 Euro was. After Shane got wallop twice by Vernon, it was time to do a Floyd move and challenge him to a fight. After Fraud saw Margarito got KO'd by Shane, it's time to do a Floyd move and fight Hatton again. Thanks to Rugged Man, things I've been saying about Fraud all along goes VIRAL. *
