Cotto vs. Clottey

It seems it's building some steam:

Miguel Cotto, " I am sure i'll beat Clottey"
http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=18629

Joshua Clottey, "Miguel Cotto won't last twelve rounds"
http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=18629

Gluvs whats up brah! are you that sure? Cotto and Clottey won't go at it? It seems a minor chip about Cotto's legitimacy is chafing on your shoulder.

My cousin sometimes has strippers at his fight parties.

But to his credit, they don't do their thing until after the fight.

Probably the better approach by far, CT, but I don't even frame it as a party. I let people know I'm getting the PPV and welcome them to join me. I serve beverages, make some damn delicious eats and bust out the extra seating, but once the fight starts: STFU! :^O

I recognize my own selfishness, but there's only one chance to see a hugely anticipated fight for the first time. I do watch the better ones repeatedly, but there's nothing like the live event itself - I never jump out of my seat watching the replay.

When I host a fight party, it really is a party. Its mayhem and a lot of fun, but I realize that I'm going to be watching the fight over again as soon as everybody clears out.

Hell yeah! It is unlike any other sport for me. EVERY big fight, I'm all atwitter THE WHOLE DAY. And I generally regret inviting anyone over for the big PPVs because 9 times out of 10 they're not nearly as stoked as I am and I fume as they carry on conversations during the staredown and just prior to the opening bell.

There is a difficult balance to strike as a host and I probably bomb every tenet in etiquette 101 and then some, but the best I can do is to blatently ignore them, hone-in on the widescreen (frowning) and crank the volume as to drown them out.

Jabs, maybe 908 is a welcher too, who knows.

He has a tendency to just ignore posts he has no answers to (e.g. Cotto fighting during the PR parade every year to make more money as Floyd fighting JMM during the Mexican holiday for more money).

Either way, I could care less who wins or losses this fight since I don't dislike either fighter but will enjoy either 908 or Dingo shrink a few more inches should their guy lose.

mr908, I think you're a smacked-ass...but, I advise you not to make a bet with this here turd called "themandingo". He's a welcher, which all on here can attest to, in addition to being a mouthbreather.

If you make a signature bet, he'll simply cease posting as "themandingo", so the new sig will never be seen. He'll then create an alt to post from, in order to get his two spit-covered cents in.

Let's put a signature "bitch" bet on it.

Pacquiao wins, you're my bitch on your signature for one year.

Cotto wins, I'm your bitch on my signature for one year PLUS 6 months!

Another tough fight in which he will lose again. I don't care how you break it down, Marquez schooled Manny twice. If Manny can't KO you or get a knockdown or 2 he don't stand a chance against more skilled fighters (that fight back). He's been treading very carefully through the minefields of boxing. The buck stops here, Cotto will bring this guy back to reality.
