http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=23138 That would MOST DEFINETLY SHAKE THINGS UP!!! Chad Dawson is willing to step up to the plate..and you know what fellas: I got him taking it all. Way to step up America's young Lions: Williams, Dawson, Mayweather, Ward! Thoughts on Dawson joining guys ? Can it happen ? And if he's entered - do you also see him taking it ?

He necessarily doesnt have to drop the fight. His fight with Johnson is next week. Ward and Kessler dont even fight for another 3 weeks. As long as he is not seriously hurt against Johnson. He can take care of buisness and be a substitution and be ready to go in good fashion. I think Dawson would make some good match up's with the fighters. He's fought for a while at 168, and has mentioned going back to fight guys like Calzaghe. My thing is, I think the fights will be intringing and great. I rather not see him enter tourney but as a fan I wouldnt be opposed if he did.

X has trouble with athletic fighters. I think Dawson beats him in a close decision in a ugly fight.

Dawson would be a great addition to the Super6 tourney; I see him defeating everyone except Kessler. But I think Dawson's better move is to stay at LHWT, and get a fight with the winner of Hopkins/Jones.........

Hopkins would lure Dawson into one of those rough fights where it would be a bad night for him.

Dawson loses to Hopkins. He will be forced to go to Hopkins and will walk into numerous sneak rights. He doesn't have the power or awkwardness to trouble Bernard.

He's still tops in his division (Granted: So are the Klitchkos). How do you think he fairs against Hopkins.....I think he beats Hops.

Doesn't interest me at all. I consider Dawson to be one of those "duds" at 175. I wasn't too jacked up to see Frankie Liles fighting in the 90's, and that's who dawson is to me- today's Frankie Liles.

You'd rather see him fight Glenn Johnson (*Hooray*) and all the other duds at LHW (Minus Hopkins whom I dont' think will EVER face him) ?

At least I can beleive that.

Dawson has claimed to have entered LHW bouts at 172. He claims that it wouldn't affect him at all. I'll take his world for it.......... -- Edited by GoldenGluvs at 10/30/2009 8:52 AM PDT

> So let me get this right, he got a gift decision > against Glenn, but a few post earlier you say why > should he fight him he already beat him, right? That's right. As obvious as it is, I'll reiterate for you: In Dawson's "W" column, is Glencoffe's name. What part of he won, aren't you understanding exactly ? > If your next fight is a month or so away, is your > first on HBO and is a rematch of a heated first > fight, the reasons why you should keep the fight are > self explanatory. > > So no he's not dropping out of an HBO fight to go > fight for HBO's main competitor, THAT WOULD BE CAREER > SUICIDE! Which has absolutely jack sh*t to do with why I'd like to see the fight....ZERO. Politics aside: it would absolutely be great viewing, should Dawson enter the tournament. -- Edited by GoldenGluvs at 10/30/2009 8:49 AM PDT
