Did anyone pay $$ to have Max Kellerman cut off an interview?

[Replies: 188]
I don't care if Max got butt hurt buy Floyd.. I payed money to see the fighters and hear what they have to say after the fight. I don't care about Maxie. he has no problem hyping up a fight and then putting it down during the fight and asking awkward questions after the fight but can't take the heat when someone gets in his face. LOOK STFU! let these guys talk. you should be fired! (cross's fingers) I wanted to hear what floyd had to say and but you are a puss and had to run to jim.

Let me tell everyone, who for some dumb ass reason is wondering what Floyd was going to say before Max cut him off, how that conversation was going to end.

Floyd takes mic from Max and starts going off about how Flashy he is, how rich and how much money he has, how he's the new cash cow of boxing, how if he was white he would be an even bigger cash cow, how he's not going to fight a 5 loss mosley, how there's a blue print on how to beat everybody and how there's no blue print to how to beat him.

In other words, he was once again act like a retard, which is why Max cut him off. You want to see guys take the mic and act silly like that I recommend you watch Wrestling you'll get plenty of entertainment there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mayweather is supposed to be a fighter and his job is to fight, not talk.
Whereas, Max Kellerman is a boxing commentator and interviewer. His job is to ask tough questions and for Mayweather to answer without stutter... :O
KELLER MAN IS THE ONLY ONE WITH BIG BALLS!
He punked Fraud jr. and that's a good thing.
...when Fraud tried to hijack the interview and grab the mic like it was his own personal karaoke, ...hhhmmm....MR. KELLERMAN punked his ass....lol
..here's my favorite part..."yo do too mush talking...hey, hey...what? why are saying jim...no..come back...give me the mike kellerman...stop...
back to you jim, jim....jim...
..lol...that was classic..great job kellerman...
Hitking, I think Pac/JMM 3 has lost steam as well.......... as for Pac/Floyd, the fight needs to be made if he gets passed Cotto.
If Pac was to get killed by Cotto, at the end of next year, after both JMM and Pac win at least one fight, maybe at a weight south of JWW, they could build up some interest. I don't think it would be PPV worthy without one, if not both, winning a belt before their bout. I'd definatley watch it, but I wouldn't be that mad if it never happened.
Max you were an ass that night. I'm not just a Mayweather fan, I bet $100 on Marquez. Mayweather was absoutely right. It was his time to talk, and what was wrong with him giving a shout out to his sponsors? Especially when Mayweather put on a tremendous display of skill, agility and speed.
You did a horrible job letting Shane mess up your interview. Mayweather was also right when he said "you talk to much". The show is about the boxer not the commentator. Please don't turn into another Merchant. When it's all said and done, people are going to remember Mayweather's name for all time, and no matter how hard you try, it's never going to happen for you.
Maybe, especially if Pac looks good against Cotto. Remember, Pac is a mainstream star no. I think it will be very hard to sell Marquez to the mainstream after last night. As for us, I hope that's the fight that happens. I have no desire to see Pac take the beating he world take in there with Mayweather.
The response to Floyd Mayweather before, and after this fight is the reason why MMA is kicking boxing's ass. The hardcore boxing media, and fans spent this entire promotion talkign about what a sham fight this was. Juan Manuel Marquez came in the #2 P4P fighter in the world, but he's not a mainstream star. Instead of selling him as a great fighter, who is fighting the most recognizable mainstream star in the game. The hardcore media and fans mae Marquez out to be a bum. And because of the way he was beaten in his first, and now last trip, into the mainstream. No one outside of hardcore boxing fans will ever want to see him fight again. Thsi guy is one of the best the sport we love has to offer, and now he's viewed as some piss drinking ham-n-egger to those who don't follow the sport as closely as we do. MMA would never do this. The MMA media, and fans stick together. They didn't dog the promotion when Lesner's big ass fought Couture, who he outweight by about 60 lbs on fight night. They didn't call it a sham when Rampage fought Liddell, who he had already owned. They support their big fights, and their biggest stars. That's why they are doing good and boxing is basically a cult sport. So congrats boys. Ya'll took one of the most masterful superfight performances and turned it into a joke. And you wonder why we don't get all the big fights we want. Hell, why would any of these cats take a risk when it is likely to be met with more sh*t than sugar.
Roy Jones got the same treatment from Larry throughout his whole career.. First the media and hbo build a big super fight then the first thing they do is try to take something away from the winner because they are angry at how easily he defeated his opponent...Roy jones had the same problem..... he made everyone look small in the ring so all the haters kept coming up with some BS after every fight. Shane Mosely deserves a shot ..plain and simple.... but it was not done right ..thats not the way you conduct business and Max is not a friggin match maker he is a commentator and no one respects him the way they respected larry merchant so he cant be the new kid on the block and try to call the shots at the same time.... thats just stupid. By the way Larry would ask some pain in the ass questions but he always took the flak for it and NEVER let shit get out of hand ...he could out fires as quickly as he would light them... Max your the new guy OK... sooner you realize it the better off youll be.. you cant demand respect.. and at your pace youll never earn it from anyone.. If I were FMJ Id take my millions and go back into retirement and to hell with all the haters..
Hey everybody, we didn't miss shit in the interview. They are always the same with Floyd. He thanks god and his sponsors and when asked about his next opponent he dodges the question by saying " I Leave that stuff up to leonard ellerby and my team ". And when asked about his opponent after a fight he says " Man he's tough and good, but not good enough to beat the best in the world
Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather".
You know the rest of the bs. He dodges questions just like he dodges fighters.
I'm glad Max put him on the spot. And I'm sure that Hbo, Max, Shane and every other true boxing fan is sick of watching Mayweather dominate under classed opponents, and then have to listen to him run his mouth about how great he is.
It's not just Kellerman and Shane that hates his tactics, it's damn near everyone. Just watch the vids I posted and you'll see for yourself.
Max.....you need to be fired or demoted. That was simply retarded, you weren't in any danger you have a fighter who just won and wanted to discuss his victory and give his appreciations. The only thing you should of did especially after asking Mayweather about contract negotiations with weight and money matters was...kept quiet. The next thing was Mosely who wants to fight... what were you thinking if any of them would of fought they would of lost alot more than blood( $$$, license, endorsements,etc.) I just hope HBO takes into consideration people pay $$ to here and see what goes on, not to here some obnoxious puppet calling for it's owner "Jim".
I'm glad shane did what he did because he's running out of options to get a fight with mayweather. He got the abuse in the interview because everyone including the hbo crew knows mayweather dodges legitimate opponents. Max would ask him a question that I and the rest of boxing public wanted an answer to, and he would HIM HAW around and avoid answering it several times. Before you reply, watch these vids and then blame Mosely and Max.
