Was too lazy to look up the other drinks thread. As I mentioned elsewhere, I went to this place on Fri night with over 60 Belgium beers... my oh my. Ordered a Bink Tripel, which was actually a wine sized bottle of beer. Was not expecting that, but it was very good.. and had I think a 7% or 8% content. Also had a Tripel Karmeleit, which was awesome! On the sweeter/fruitier side.. but also very strong. And of course had a Delirium Tremens on tap. This place also had individual glass types for each type of beer, which was cool and very Euro-beer-garden-authentic, from what I hear. -- I'm born. I'm alive. I breathe. In a moment or two, I realize..

I didn't think The Cranberry Lambic was bad at all...It just wasnt nearly as good as the Holiday Porter. I actually think the Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic is a MUCH better brew than their Cherry Wheat.

JME, I am almost done with the DVDs. I will send them and 3 beers to you hopefully this week. The beers I am sending you are all from local breweries. From Saranac in Utica, NY, I will be sending you the Vanilla Stout and the India Brown Ale. From Middle Ages you are getting the triple Crown Ale. Thanks Fudo, Where does Harbin come from? I definitely know there are certain beers I really don't like it's odd but so many people are crazy about Sam Adams type beers and I just can't drink them, I've tried a few and can't do more than a sip.

Hey guys, I like Heineken, Sapporo, and Perroni the most, but am curious about other foreign beers that taste good. I'm not into any of the fruit stuff mentioned or any of the Sam Adams stuff, so do any of you have any suggestions for beers similar to the ones I like?

I have yet to try the holiday pack. It will be a must for me. I would love to try the cream stout and holiday porter to go along with the always great winter lager. -- Edited by bombastic1 at 11/16/2008 9:32 AM PST
