What fights at HeavyWeight do you think could help the division?

Everybody knows the Heavy Weight's are struggling, so what fights do you think could happen that would help bring some life back to the Division?

Do you think they are on the way back with the upcoming fights or do you think there are other fights that need to be made?

Brock Lesnar doesn't have good boxing skill and would be demolished by Wlad.

After all, Wlad is a good fighter, except for his delicate chin... :O

If Roy fights at heavyweight, does that stirr up some interest?

There are no fights in this current HW crop that are remotely important....

As it is in Duran, Leoanrd, Hearns, Benitez, Hagler, Mugabi and many others, era, the competition was incredible... Julian Jackson, Terry Norris, Simon Brown and more followed so the division stays hot...

You have to have 5 - 6 guys around and another 4 - 6 guys able to pull off upsets @ any given time (like the WW division today with Manny, Floyd, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Cintron, Cotto, Collazo, Berto and so on)... There are two guys @ the helm of the division and until their time pass or they get beaten, the division remains boring until it becomes competitive....

Valuev beat himself the moment he entered the sport. If not, then he got beat by Evander Holyfield.

Wlad tried after Haye bailed. Valuev declined and Chagaev stepped in.

The good news is that Haye is slated to fight igor next and he shouldn't have too much trouble taking that belt. When he does, the big (and obvious) fight of the division is Wlad/Haye. That will be a huge fight with some in-ring excitement for the payoff.

Yeah Valuev is the one that don't want a part of the Klits. If Haye beats him, then it'll make for a fight that'll be a little bit better. it'll be a unification fight. But it'll only make it a little bit better.

I'd watch it, but I would not pay for it.

Who cares who they fight, all they do is play pattycake anyways. I think Brock Lesnar should fight Wlad. That would be more entertaining than any HW fight I've seen in the last five years.

Yeah, Klitschko vs. Klitschko seems to be the ultimate heavyweight fight at the moment, but the winner would still seem to be standing in a wasteland.

We need one or more quality heavyweights to enter and shake up the heavyweight division.

In my opinion, there are no big fights to be made in the heavyweight division other than Klitschko vs. Klitschko. It's a shame, but unfortunately, it appears to be a fact.

I was referring to the sort of champ Chambers would be (a not big selling one like Byrd) ... the fight would be on HBO obviously

I gotcha, and I agree.

It's bad that this one of the best fights that this division could produce.

I do like the Chambers/Wladimir matchup. I don't have any predictions right now, but after Chambers last fight/fights he really showing that he has some skills. I'd watch this, but wouldn't pay for it. I'd go over someone's house that has it.

The Kevin Johnson-Odanier Solis fight on the next Latin Fury undercard is one of the matchups of some value ... heavyweight prospects with some talent and pedigree, in a high risk fight. Would you pay to see it? No, but it does come with a JuanMa card, so that might make it a little better.
